^ Good choice, that's what I've been wearing in Finnish winter. Though, this year it hasn't been needed yet. We haven't got even snow in the south… :o
I got the jacket last night, and it just happened to snow last night into this morning.
These jackets are ace…warm as hell!

Got a few incarnations of this jacket and the 20th(technically 21st) Anniversary is easily the ulitmate All Weather Version Aitor really did a great job on it, however the 30th Anniversary version(made to celebrate the 30th year of C.P) is the ultimate luxury version and is probably my favourite one.

sorry, can not say i'm into it. looks warm though

i vote against it. what are you trying to get? is it going to beyour only winter coat or is it something to switch out? i vote for something alittle less marshmallow man that allows abit more ease of movement (if it's your only coat) if you have more than one coat than you know . . . i really just don't dig it

Besides a new Aero (model and specs more anon) I'm considering this in Tan: http://www.filson.com/products/portage-bay-jacket.10129.html?fromCat=true&fvalsProduct=mens/new-arrivals&fmetaProduct=1015

Ah yes, and I'm also picking up this when in "washing scum of the side-walk" mode http://www.ebay.com/itm/360377648058?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I picked up a gaberdine officers shirt from them, not bad.

But yeah im looking for a decent well made down jacket, I currently do not own any winter coats. And living in the northeast w/ winter fast approaching I am not looking forward to being unprepared. Im looking at:
-Moncler
-Duvetica

Another run of the IHJ-04 Down Jacket!
I'm pretty sure that G still has a couple of these in M or XL (might be XXL), I tried on one earlier in the year, and they are great quality.

Can I extend this to winter hats too? Think I need to up my hat game, for not too much ££.
Have to say the buzz watch caps are worth every penny. I have relied on the navy & William Gibson models to keep my head warm for the last 3 winters & they are still as good as new! Got the mister freedom watch cap for when it's really cold, its even thicker than the buzz .

Ok you asked for it so here it is in all it's glory
Tell you what it really came into it's own what with the crazy weather we are experiencing today.

Nice pics! That jacket certainly badass. It reminds me of old war movies.
I hope to get some pictures of my Fjallraven parka up this weekend. Still waiting for some actual cold weather.
