No experience with the 14 oz, but I have a pair of the 18 oz and it's very cool. Lots of texture, well constructed, soft and smooth on the inside. Probably worth a shot.
As for the pocket arcs, a stitch ripper can fix that, or you can just wait for them to wear off; they're 100% cotton, so it shouldn't take too long.

2" in the waist, 2.5" in the inseam, .5" everywhere else. That's after 2 hot washes, so pretty standard, I'd say.
Should point out that I didn't get mine from BiG, so it's possible that the batch they have will act differently.

I kinda like them. And they're certainly less ugly than Studio D'Artisan and Strike Gold arcs. Especially the SDA arcs; those look like something my daughter would draw, and she's only 15 months old.
-
Hey, I love the SDA pig. I bought a couple of Studio tee shirts just for the pig. The arcs suck, though.
-
I ordered a pair of the 14oz Blue fit. The 20oz model was tempting, but I feel I've got enough heavy denim right now.
Jury is still out on the arcs - initially I hated them but I'm coming round….I may keep them or pick them out depending on how they look when I wear the jeans. They should arrive next week, so here's hoping they fit.
-
This is just for the Belgian hater…
See, the arcs aren't even that noticeable.
-
I was searching for the pig(s) on your t-shirt rather than staring at your arse though…
Same, could you post some more pics of the tee in the SDA thread??
-
I'll try to get some photos posted in the appropriate thread. Gotta do some laundry first.

My new acquisition, the Oni 14oz "Blue Fit". Not much info is out there about Oni's, so I'm on an adventure!
I LOVE the denim on these, and they are different to anything else I have. Slubby, hairy, and very cool. Construction looks to be top-notch as well.
If the sizing works I'm planning to make these my lightweight jeans for the upcoming Aussie summer. Actually I'm a little nervous about the sizing - BiG site suggests 8-10% shrinkage, and I hope they do because in their unsoaked state theyare a bit too spacious in the leg.
I'll put up some more pics in the near future (after a soak). Here's hoping they turn out favourably!

i think that your postsoak fit is going to be a great one…just wash´em (instead of soaking them!) at first to make sure that all shrinkage is gone and if you looking for even more shrinkage, dry´em as fast as possible...
btw. i somehow miss the old couch and the jar of pasta supporting it

All-in-all pretty happy with the shrinkage on these guys. Unless they stretch ridiculously with wear, I think they're keepers. The denim is even more amazing now after a soak, and I can't wait to get into these when the weather becomes too hot for IH.
Measurements ("Blue Fit" 14oz, tagged 32):
PRE/POST SOAK
Waist 34/33
Thigh 13/12.5
Knee 9.3/9
Hem 9/8.6
Inseam 36.5/35AFTER 1hr HOT SOAK:
and the pasta jar, just for Finn
Giving them another hoat soak as I type this, as I'd like a bit more shrinkage in the thighs…..

Had the same experience with my 18 oz pair- no shrinkage whatsoever on the second wash. No significant stretching, either. So you might be safe with yours.;)
