2013 Autumn/Winter Pipeline

agreed McCmittens, they are two different things. i thought i stated pretty clearly i love the passion these clothes bring from people (no reason behind their reasoning as it varies from person to person). i've had forum members tell me the brand wouldn't be the same if a certain item was reissued (in public as well as behind the iron curtain) & have seen some pretty scathing posts from folks who have a passion for Iron Heart pushing the boundaries & doing something different (most of those folks aren't shy about the way they feel but have for whatever reason stopped voicing their take on it because it is an endless circular discussion). i just enjoy agreeing with the underdog no matter who he or she is as it spices things up around here.
i'm happy when i'm MAD & debating, what can i say
on topic, so the IHJ-14 is going to be incredible, can not wait for it to hit & as the outer is duck would probably take waxing pretty well

I will say to me it doesn't really make sense to continue remaking the red and black flannel and not occasionally make it in other colors.
It must sell in fecking 1,000's in Japan, because I did not ask for it to be done again…..I do have a particular colour combo in mind for a Buffalo check which I may get done for early next year.....
Don't listen to me, G. I have no idea how things work in the real world! This sounds exciting tho.
-
What color do you have in mind? And would this be a super heavy?
-
G, thanks for your patience in explaining the reality. It's interesting to hear about how the brand works from the inside. In my mind it's like "while we're making a bunch of red and black shirts, let's just make some blue and black ones as well! Why not?" Haha.
If we were a "normal" brand perhaps. But we design all the fabric we use ourselves, we then have to get it made. We don't just stroll down to the mill and pick up what looks nice. We used to for shirting and boy was it a lot easier, but shirts appeared by other brands made out of the same fabric, H decided there and then that this was unacceptable, so we design all our own now. It adds complication, takes up a lot of Harakis bandwidth, takes time and calls for large minimum quantities. But the up side is, the fabrics are unique to us…..

And we love IH for this dedication. It makes everything you release that much more special.

So I guess I should pick up one of those herringbone flannels before they're gone gone gone….
If you don't you'll have to find one on the secondary market, because we won't make again….

Grey/Purple. And yes super heavy…....I need 2.5 months to get the fabric made and another 1.5 months to get the shirts made up. That would make a February release........
-
Super heavy, grey/purple. Can I fill the form?
-
Thanks G! Sounds interesting…
