Self Edge x Iron Heart = SEXIH22-633s

I understand that these have indigo half arcs, but can the powers that be (those forum members who really know their IH) tell me if there is anything else different about these back pockets. They look bigger to me, but it might just be that I'm so used to the more visible arc.
-
The pockets definitely look much bigger to me too.

First thing i thought when i saw ur pic was "fuck those pockets look big". Also noticed that there is an extension (higher stitch) above the left side of both the pockets. Usually this is on the left side of the left pocket and right side of the right no?

Those look sweet Baytone. You gonna hem these? That denim still looks crazy stiff. I thought it might calm down a bit post-soak. Looks like breaking these in will be a prolonged wrestling match.
Not too sure yet, I'm probably going to let them settle in for maybe a month or two before i decide if i want to hem them
Baytone, what kind of boots are those? Denim looks damn good. Crap- I thought my only acquisition this year would be the UHR- these are really tempting. I need more legs!
They're the 1000 mile boots by Wolverine.

nope. IIRC, all self edge x iron heart collabs have both pockets sewn the same with the half arch (which I stylistically prefer)

Wasnt refering to the arcs im talking about the top of the pockets. Very subtle but def different. There is a stitch that is above the pocket and they are usually both towards the middle seam.
-
This is very hard to explain via internet lol. I know that they are always there G but I noticed on the 633 they are both on the left
sides of the pockets but on reg
IH they are both in the middle. I have good examples this time;)

Here are some post soak pics
How's the stiffness on these post soak?

On the new 301S the cardboard like stiffness went away within a few hours but I think thats because of its fit and how active I am in them vs just sitting around in them. I think the 633S should be the same but it doesn't hug my thighs and knees like the 301S. The only downside to having both fits is that I only have one pair of legs to wear them with and I'm having trouble taking my 301S off, not because i can't but because I just don't want to.

i was referring to both the arches and the way that the pocket was sewn onto the pant. It's obvious that the side where the stitching goes up and over the top of the hidden rivet is not where sewing started and ended. This design decision might have been made by the sower??? But on all of SE collabs I've seen, this is how it is. I am sure it is not a coincidence. The only thing that is different is the 'W' on the right pocket.

Hey Broark,
Congrats. Enjoy them in good health.
I received my pair in the mail today too, but I just took them out of the box and looked them over really quick. I'm working on my 666XHS and my work pair of 634S, so I'm not sure when I'll get around to breaking these in. The fit sounded interesting to me and I wanted to score a pair before they were gone, but I really have no idea when I'll start wearing these. And then the 666UHRs will drop and I'll really have my hands (er, legs?) full.
In any event, I'm anxious to see other members' fit and evo pics.

For practical purposes, loomstate denim is no different than any other unsanforized denim. Just follow your usual routine and they'll work out just fine.
-
Thanks #23, I'm going to start wearing mine pretty soon I think. I have so many other pairs at the moment but I'm really looking forward to wearing these a good bit.
Also like Chris said just follow you're normal unsanforized soak routine. I just gave mine a 45 minute luke warm soak and hang dry. Usually my method.

I tried on a pair of 34s and while I was able to button them up without too much difficulty, they just wouldn't have been comfortable. I tried on the 36s, but the leg was way too large for my liking. The fabric is amazing and I'm really disappointed to be missing out on these. Oh, the woes of being a size 35.
