My one (big) complaint is that the pull loops both broke, so I had to cut them off.  It (to me) is an indication that the leather is not up to par….

I had exactly the same issue, pull loops broke within an hour of ownership, they went straight back for a refund!

Go see Edward Green. A lot more money but the best boot in that style that I've seen.
