The Real McCoys
-
Had the A2 out for lunch with a friend today. So far every person I've seen whilst wearing it has commented on how good it looks. This mate said it looked fucking good and asked to smell it. I like the fit/cut/jacket on me, nice to see the people in the real world who have no idea about the label/cut also being able to enjoy it

Great snowy it's all about passion, nice your friend is interested in general., i had a funny nice experience last year in London wearing my anni A2. Visited Vintage showroom, several people commented and even one of the owners asked if my jacket is a ww2 original. it's always great talking clothes and stuff

Stellar jacket AND fit @grandmasterben , couldn't have done better IMO
Makes me want one and it costs a ton [emoji53] -
Thanks @zatenm ! I think the fit is perfect too.
Honestly, if I were you I'd stick with the Flat Head since it's a pretty similar jacket. I was considering Flat Head's version of the buco (different than yours, with plain back), but the RMC fit me better and I'm really happy with the decision I've made.
I think I'm a two jacket kind of guy. One that's a light brown color would be great… but I'm really happy now, not looking for anything new soon at all

Thanks @grandmasterben I remember your (excellent) post on that Flat Head/Buco comparo - unquestionably you've made the right choice IMO. Fit is everything.
My TFH though, has the feel of a different jacket - more of a (collar-less) "coat" than a "shirt/shacket".
Aside from the heavier leather and the half-belt back, the arms are full(er) across the whole seam with generous armwholes and wider shoulders - not sure if that was meant to be faithful to some original pattern or just the typical TFH cut, but it makes it a layering piece for me.
On me, the fit looks too loose with just a T but spot on with a proper IH shirt underneath. Hence the J-100 could be a T-shirt jacket but not too worry, I'm still too far off from such a decision/purchase..Light brown would be a great match to your black IMO - I would also suggest a "roomier" cut to further complement your leather warbrobe unless you're keen on maintaining the j-100 style/fit (which is I find really tempting as well)
But until then, I think your buco would hold your undivided attention. The way the leather and fit keeps improving with every wear, it's hard to take it off one's back. I wear mine sometimes indoors..!

You're exactly right. My dream jacket is the real mccoys wayward in a light brown horsehide such as the Freewheelees Caboose Rust Brown.
Completely different patterns that o think would complement each other. One crazy and slim black Moto jacket, and one nice roomy casual brown one.
But like you said, the buco is the one for now. I'm determined to get some hard wear out of it. And at this point it's on me at all times indoors, and in the morning and at night:)

Dude, I'm a straightup dumbass. My girlfriend put on my leather and it looked cute so I said she should keep it on… we were going to put this dumb dog (shes dog-sitting, and it's a real dumb dog) that loves to jump on her.
The shit would literally not stop jumping on her and i swear nipping at the jacket. Luckily nothing happened. I reprimanded her because she's usually the one who keeps me from doing dumb shit
-
Send the dog to me and Jessy, it will not jump again I swear you under jessy's regime @grandmasterben
Jessy also sometimes get at me when we play and stuff as long she doesnt pushes her teeth into it is all fine, i had a calf leather jacket once she was allowed biting into it upon command while playing, we both loved it lol but wont allow with the j100 glad tha doggie didnt chew man@Snowy my missus two cats fortunately are mainly concentrated on how to get their food and sleeping and not so much in my leathers hihi

Out of our 3 girls, 2 love 'lap time' and even the 3rd one jumps on me from time to time.
@grandmasterben shit dude, close call so early! Lucky the pads not the paws :).

That is a stunning jacket @Snowy the leather looks soft yet has a depth and grain. Boootiful!
Cracking combo with the shirt too

Amazing. Beard looks good too!
