Bugger. I shall arm me with patience and not hit the snooze button next time they're around.

I've got 3 so far…. I'll be grabbing more. One already has blood stains, so I'm considering doing an indigo dip

I need to order some of these tees.
Im a huge tee fan and my collection consists of flat head (THC), strike gold, toys mccoy, ballpark, and of course iron heart and Im almost perplexed as to why the IH loopwheeled tees aren't revered as much.
IH loopwheeled tee fabrics are better than flat head and strike gold IMO.

Iron Heart fabrics ARE better than the others. From my perspective, the reason they don't get the same love is because of the collar construction on the IHT's and IHPT's. With the small sizes (xs, s, m) they are fine, but on the larger sizes they wrinkle and don't hold their shape, which is not a good look for t-shirts.
The 1600 and the ihtb's have solved that issue. The collar construction is superb. The 1600 proves that all Iron Heart tees should have this collar.
The 1600 collar, with the 7.5oz loopwheeled fabric would be the best tee in existence IMO.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who finds IH's 7.5oz tees' fabric perfect.
Super interesting, I didnt know that the problem with the collars was found in mostly in the bigger sized.
I wear a small in IH tops and have some older loopwheeled tees and newer ones. The newer ones have a more elastic collar that snaps back to your neck size and the fabrics feel different at times. For example I have the IHT-3000 in gray and also newer tee like the 1408 (gray).
The 3000 has a slick and cool temperature-wise feel compared to the 1408 which is hairy and warm as soon as it touches your skin.
I realize some people are after vintage details (ballpark comes to mind) since according to Kiya, IH has a more modern cut/feel approach to their knitwear line and I guess products in general.

It is by no means a problem. It's just a matter of preference.
The ribbed collars are supremely comfy and fully functional, but when they get wider (as in the larger sizes) the fabric doesn't hold its shape like the collar on the IHT-1600. In my experience, the ribbed collars tend to ripple and bunch up when there is extra space between the collar and your neck. I prefer a tight collar line on my undershirts, which I can get from the smaller IHT's because they are narrow enough to stay close to my neck. I have 20+ IHT's, so I'm a believer in the greatness of the IH-7.5oz fabric.
But this 1600 is just perfect! I am eagerly awaiting more colors! This is me in a (L):

The main reason why I was so stoked on the fact that temperature went down 10C°, was not the prospect of being able to sleep again, or no longer being a sweaty, exhausted mess at work, but it was getting to wear the 1600s again…
Seriously: these may be my fav IH pieces... Please make 'm in chocolate brown and olive drab, Haraki-san // G...
