IHF-SP - Forum Sweat Parka

Hi jacoavlu,
The replies are just a side effect of the forum medium I think, instead of just a dry voting output we end up with a more vibrant threads that results in related discussions (see above re: XXL for example).
Experience has shown that a reservation facility did not really work that great in the real world (given the growth of the forum and the customer base).
Drop Giles a PM and I am sure he would be happy to elaborate on this.
Rgds

After looking at the sizing I'm going with an xl. (if final mx stay true)
-
Gonna have to pass, unfortunately. Those arms are way, way too short for a monkey man like me. Damn shame.
-
^^Well the shoulders are longer to make up for the short sleeves… kinda like FH shirts i'm assuming? I am trying to decide between the L and XL ... usually an L in IH shirts. Will def be getting one or the other though.

small for me!

Newbie question: Does voting and/or stating in the thread "size XYZ for me" actually get one saved for me to purchase when they arrive?
(Asked with full understanding that a "save me one" statement should equal a full commitment to follow through with purchase once they arrive in stock.)
Voting does not constitute a commitment - it is merely so that I can get a resonably accurate guesstimate of how many to order.
Posting in the thread saying "I want an L", also does not constitute a commitment, but is will annoy me if the poster does not buy. In the case of these sweats, if I end up some left in stock, it will not be the end of the world, as i am sure they will sell.
But at the margin, if I order 50 of something because there have been 50 votes and I only actually sell 20, then my cost base goes up and guess what? A) I have to raise the prices of everything to cover that shortfall and I probably won't do it again.
So yes, no commitment, but I do ask for a mature approach to voting and posting…..

i realize this is probably way too late but i just had a thought that might help those of us who wanted a hoodie with no print as well as those who did.
what if the hoodie was embroidered on the breast like the cpo jackets? the embroidery could be removed without harm to the garment. plus the embroidery would just look bad ass on a sweatshirt.
too little too late probably but i figured i'd throw this out there. maybe it could be a cool idea for the future.
-
awesome! even if it can't be removed i think the embroidery would look great regardless.
-
Riff, great idea. I will check if possible. romoving the embroidery from the CPO is easy becaus wave of the wool. Just not sure if poss with sweat material….......
Embroidered would be cool, for those that want the logo, but I doubt it could be removed from the sweat without it looking altered afterwards. I would think embroidery would also add to the cost and time to produce.
If you're really exploring options of having some sans logo, and they're screenprinted, you could just leave the print off of some…
(I like the logo.)
