T-Shirts

Lady Whites have arrived….arrived several days ago actually but I wanted to wash them once and wear them a bit before I gave some feedback.
To keep it short and simple, they are very nice T shirts and I will be ordering more. I ordered two white ones and the fabric is very nice. Midweight with an almost off white color. The fit is a very good happy medium between a more fitted athletic T and some of the boxier Tubular knit T's. Not too tight but not too boxy. They aren't the longest T's but they have some good length to them which is a big plus for me and others on the forum as well I know. Overall, very happy with the purchase and I have to say that as of right now these are up there with my 3sixteens at the top of my favorites list. The only difference being that the 3sixteens feel heavier and they are not tubular knit so they have a taper.
I also want to note that after a cold machine wash and lay to dry cycle, they did not shrink noticeably at all. I didn't actually measure but I actually think I gained a bit in the length which is a bonus. I believe I read that these are supposed to shrink .5" in length and width but I did not notice that at all.
I highly recommend these.
Sounds good… do you know if they taper from chest to opening? Can just fold over on itself rather than measure if you go to check. Cheers mate!

If anyone is curious about t-shirts with hemp in them, now is a good time to try Jungmaven. They're celebrating Hemp History Week with a 20% off sale- use code HHW20 at checkout.
If you're unfamiliar with the brand, Heddels did a write up recently on hemp that touched on the company.

What is everyone's take on sleeves for T's by the way… I see a lot of the ones talked about on here have the long (5") inside half of the sleeve, while most high street T's (and seemingly classic Levi's) have short (2-3") inside sleeves. These are typical measurements with standard 8" sleeves (measured along the top of the sleeve when flat).
I own both, and generally like the look of the short inside as if it's long it just bunches up. With a couple of exceptions the long inside sleeve is what I'd associate with boxy T's you'd buy either at a gig or in an Asian market, or a plain cotton sports t shirt. Is there a technical reason I'm unaware of?

I'm assuming since they are tubular knit that there is no taper from chest to opening and it also feels that way when I wear them, but I will double check tonight and get back to you.

You're right, if it's tubular it won't taper… in XL everything tends to need a seam, and usually tapers (which must be a bugger for the lads who have bigger bellies than chests come to think of it )

and I totally forgot to do this last night but I still will for shits and giggles if you want, but yeah I'm pretty sure there's no taper.
FWIW I am a Large in the Lady Whites and a Large/XL in the 3sixteens. I forgot to mention that in my initial review.

Got my two pack of 3Sixteen pocket tee indigo dyed shirts. Nice weight, good stitching, love the indigo deepness and fit will be spot on once I soak them. Was worried sleeve might be a bit too short but everything is how I like.
They are stiffer than any other tee I have, but guessing once soaked it will soften up. Hopefully they fade nicely

Just received another two pack of the Lady White T's in Olive. I can't recommend these enough. The best fitting Tubular knit T's I have found so far.

@manufc10 Thanks for the tip, have been looking for some tees without seams in my size. Will have to give these a look. You're XL in IH, right? Did you go XL in the T?

Well I warm soaked and hung dry one of the 3sixteen shirts. Shrunk perfectly for me, live it.

Nice. I also have a 2pack of the indigo 3sixteens, and I concur that they're awesome after a soak. They'll be getting their first wash this week so we'll see how that goes (I'm not going to be fussy with how I do it).

The indigo shirts seem like they will be slow faders. When I soaked and squeezed the water out didn't get much indigo off of the shirt. With a lot of IH indigo the tub is pretty dark and my hands get a good amount of indigo rub.
Still a great shirt, great fabric and always love a useful pocket.

I also love 3Sixteen Shirts. Got a black one that is by far my most worn Piece, still lasts great after 3 years and got a nice vintage character. Currently I'm also wearing a Grey and White Tee and an Indigo Pocket Tee. Dispite the overdying it still shrank almost a whole size, so be careful and size up. It also bleeds out, with every wash it got lighter. Will be interesting to watch it age - after three or four washes it's already much lighter than in the beginning.
I like the short sleeves of the 3Sixteen Shirts in particular.

Some Whitesville are inbound. Ordered XL, XL sounds similar like M IH tees.

Excellent purchase, Jordon .. congrats!
3sixteen dyed Pocket T edition - purple, charcoal & olive ..
Those look lovely! The slightly odd collars (look somewhat inside out) work well in these colours as opposed to plain white.
I just looked them up and they seem to be out of stock, not that it matters anyway… holy sh*t they're tiny!! The 2XL is considerably too small for me, which has a LOT more to do with their sizing than my torso.

yeah although the fabric on these T's are great the sizing is wonky, much different than their standard fabric T's. I tried two different sizes on these, the XL which was much shorter and smaller all around than their standard fabric XL's, and then XXL which fit up in the chest and shoulders but had an extremely boxy fit around the torso and was still fairly short in the length. Unfortunately I gave up on them as the sizing just does not work on these.

So I decided to try a company I have looked at many times, I saw they had 100% supima cotton shirts and grabbed one. Fit is spot on and the fabric is great. Def going to buy a few more, a great deal

Is this supposed to be a riddle?
