They'll loosen up on the thigh quite a bit. Dont buy the Devils Fit or the Beatle Buster…..................
they have already have loosen up abit, tight but not uncomfortable the chainstitched side seams helps alot on the comfit. "sigh" the curse of rugby back in the school days.
i wont be trying the devils fit or BB's myself but doesn't mean i wont be buying them

This nails it.
My hip/seat is approx same as Jimmy's and thighs are just a tad smaller. I usually wear W32 jawns. That's what karate does to your lower body…
So when I have saved enough and not spent my jawnsfunds to shirts or something I'll be getting 634s W32's... -

Would you recommend DC4 as an alternative instead?

Thanks G. Should have been more clear.

Anything on the IH UK site is measured as per the above….......

Shoque will be updating the "How we measure" section of the site shortly - too complex for me (so he says)….........................
Not to beat a dead horse, Shoke did a very good job articulating this but the label is saying front rise instead of thigh on the website how we measure section. Threw me for a second, but then I read description and it made perfect sense. Just wanted to let someone know…....

Alright… ive worn my 634s well over 6 months now and theyre starting to stretch out a bit... i expect no decent fades due to my office job but i figure it's time to give them a wash. Hand wash or washing machine? Never washed by hand before..

The forum has what you need.
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=34.0Fussed: Hand wash cold/warm, but not hot. Stir the water periodically for agitation. Drain container and rinse until water appears unsoapy. Hang to drip dry.
Unfussed: Machine wash on gentler settings ane either disable the spin cycle or monitor and remove before the spin. Hang to drip dry.
To get max shrinkage back to an acceptable waist, use hotter water and machine dry. I'd use Woolite Dark, Dr. Bronners, or similarly soapy stuff.

Yeah i have been weird about dry denim period… first i was freakin about sizing, then hemming, then giving a soak, and now washing... haha once i actually successfully give a pair a wash in one way or another i won't stress anymore. That's the final piece of the process in my eyes i suppose? I know they're "just jeans" but so are levis/wranglers/etc and i beat the shit out of those and don't care. I just care a bit more about these i guess
