I actually have the other cut(Tapered) of this denim, and of all the IH denim, I own, these have settled and conformed to my shape as well as any. When I initially got them,I thought I might have made a mistake in my assessment of the measurements relevant to other IH cuts that I owned at that time. What I'm trying to say is that the denim is great, very breathable,(Been wearing them all summer)and if you're close on the fit it might be worth rolling the dice on the subsequent break in/settling period.
I still haven’t worn my pair that I nabbed from the b/s/t forum. Need to get them hemmed first but I’m lazy and can’t be bothered to drive across town [emoji848] Oddly enough, this is the only pair of IH denim I own. Too many other jeans in rotation to justify buying another pair. Still want a pair of the 777-21

I think they were soaked before I bought them and I soaked them again after I got them. I’ll probably soak them once more for good measure

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I bought a pair of these, took delivery on 11th July. This is my first time with this type of denim and today is wear day 17 for these.
All went well until days of wear 11. On day 10 night, we went to a birthday party in a club, although I hung the Jean's when I came home, next day the smell of stale cigarette smoke was not nice.
I wore them to do the weekly shop, but still not nice. Decided to soak.
20 minutes in look warm water, yellow tinge in the water, which I think comes from the indigo and hung to drip dry over the bath. The puddles formed under them, were very blue.
After hanging for a couple of hours, they had developed a smell which I think was a cross between stale cigarette smoke and a wet dog…
Washing machine! I had being fighting this for many days. I'm a wear and wash, defo not a wear and wear type.
Anyway, I used laundry liquid for black clothes, on a wool wash. Took 43 minutes, I watched most of it. No sign of yellow or blue.
After they dried : waste; seat; thighs and knees seemed to be back to delivery sizes, leg a little shorter.
Perfect comfortable fit, I'm delighted

The yellow tinge is from the starch in the fabric

@JPW I was getting scarred reading through your post but so, so glad that it had a happy ending! How are they smelling now they are out of the washing machine? Also, how is your hand healing up??
Thanks for the update and wishing you many many more happy years of wear and washing with them!

Hi Graham, thanks for asking, hand is healing well. Jean's smell lovely, I really don't like the smell of stale cigarette smoke, have no problem with pipes or cigars.
Delighted with the Prontos, been looking on IH site today, planning the 2nd pair. Still trying to decide though.

Yep, these definitely had me thinking the same. It's really quite a beautiful denim, so it's a shame that it won't be reproduced. If stock in my size gets dangerously low then I'll be making a serious consideration!

@JPW:
Hello, I hope everyone is having a good day
Can someone advise, which IH cut these Pronto's are closest to please?
G'day, you'll most likely find that the 634 (straight cut) is the closest in shape. In fact, this jean can be found within the straight category amongst the various 634 offerings on the IH website. Something to take note of, however, is that measurements/proportions can vary from model to model (so take note of the measurements).

currently wear the 888 cut, but can this cut work for me? i could use a bit less front rise. the thigh sizing looks great as i need room up there. not worried about knee or leg opening as i get all my denim tailored.

@MassiveThighs My best advice is to watch the video of Iron Heart measuring items: shirts, jeans, jackets, etc. Once you have a firm grasp of how they measure, take your favourite items that you own and measure them exactly like IH does.
Write these numbers down, decide exactly what you like and dislike about your current items, and adjust accordingly.
Rise is too high, too low, thighs too tight, loose…
Compare your numbers (or adjusted numbers) to the different models of IH jeans, shirts, and jackets that you are interested in and compare them to your favourites. IH is very good at their measurements and I fully trust them on every item that I purchase from them. Always trust the numbers and you will not go wrong.

Ya i did and i think i can get away with these measurments and just get the bottom tailored. These look great btw
