Just logged on to go straight to this thread and ask why tf this thread wasn’t on fire? Glad to see you two are pyromaniacs. This is a genius idea and a beautiful jacket.

Trying to figure out if there's room in my closet for this and the olive whipcord version, they look very similar.

I just scored an olive cord type III, and now I covet this one so hard….

Ha, I was thinking of that too! But the olive cord looks different. I mean, one could argue that it looks so different that you have to get this one! [emoji14]

Three reasons I could think of why this one is better than the whipcord:
1. This has a deeper and richer olive color.
2. The whipcord's color gets "pale" after washing a few times whereas this one probably will preserve its color.
3. This is a softer and more comfortable material. -
I don't think @sabergirl is talking about the whipcord version. I think she refers to this….

@Giles I was referring to @Paul9221's post

But to also comment on the corduroy vs moleskin debate (I own a type III corduroy in brown): I can see how my first two points would apply, maybe not my third point since corduroy is cozy as hell.

This is the one I can’t wait to see live in a few days. Really interested in how this will feel.
