@neph93 I really like how your picture backgrounds are evolving.
It may or may not be an effort to distract you all from my expanding waistline…
I was thinking about this today actually. I miss posting nearly every day on this thread, but without going “back to the bathroom” it is hard. I guess it’s quality over quantity.

Thanks @motojobobo the Cordura is so nice. I’m still eying one of the new jackets they released this SS.
You have me wanting a pair of black denim, it would be a logical next move for me.

Seconded on both counts. Makes me wants bigger one to wear over shirts.

Quick side story…It was my senior year of high school and using my money saved from a summer job, I purchased my first pair of Adidas. I wore them to a high school Wrestling Meet and left them in the locker room. When I came back to change, someone had stolen them...
I still miss that pair to this day.

I had a pair of "V" tongue Fila's when thye first got popular back in the early 90's, and I too had them stolen from the school locker room.
I feel your pain in my nostalgic soul @goosehd

Really love heritage clothing but also have a bit of a hang up for technical fabrics and design on items like bags and outdoor gear. I don’t don tech wear outside of outdoor activities with the sole exception of Acronym, just because the patterns are so good and they have such crazy (often comical) quirks. This jacket for example has the following silly features: hidden sleeve-end pockets for rapidly producing a phone or a knife into your hand out of nowhere like a magic trick, the ability to carry a compatible messenger bag (yes I have one, complete with fasteners taken from German special forces gear) underneath the garment, a sling to hang the garment across your shoulder when you’re not wearing it, magnetic Velcro tape at the collar to secure earbuds to, etc), but I love it especially for the storage built into it. Bulky (read: JMM) sunglasses, AirPods, even water bottles can be stowed. So much thought put into the way the zippers and pockets are placed. I’ve lost a set of keys for a few minutes in one of the hidden pockets before. The stand up collar conceals an amazing hood. The patterning is unmatched. There are no shoulder seams, and in fact very few seams at all somehow, and you have complete freedom of movement. Their designer, Errolson Hugh, is the one designer I hold in as high regard as Haraki, even if I find Haraki makes stuff that is more consistently to my liking.
So, grateful for the wind and rain of late for trivial reasons beyond the devastating drought we are experiencing.
