IHM-20 - Overdyed 14oz Indigo Denim M65
-
Thanks for the info regarding the sleeve height/etc… I didn't have any issues with the IHJ-61 in the sleeves... my arms are somewhat skinny... Issue with the IHJ-61 was only when I raised my arms up which leads me to believe it was just an issue with the lining and/or placement of the sleeves on the jacket.
One of the other measurements that kind of concerned me is the waist measurement... at about 21.4" waist that's the minimum I'd go in most my IH shirts... with this being a jacket I'm thinking it might just be too small in the waist for me. Then again I could stand to lose some weight!
And you might be right that the easiest thing for me to do would probably just get it from IH UK and return it if it doesn't fit right... on the other hand, if you ever decide to let go of your XL let me know
Will do.

No problem!
You might have the same problems with a L IHM-20 but one thing to keep in mind is that it has the shoulder pleats which does give you some slack with your range of motion. The main "issue" (if you can call it that) I have with my Large is actually the fact that the armholes seemed to placed pretty high on this jacket and the sleeves are trim which probably isn't helped by the lining. So this means it is tight around my armpits/shoulders and biceps. I don't have massive guns by any means but I'm fit and I am no stranger to the gym and curls. So if your arms are on the skinnier side it might not be an issue.
If I were you I would try one of the Larges from IHUK. You can always send it back if it doesn't work out. I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem selling it either if you wanted to do that.
I have the same issue with the armholes. I wore the ihm-20 one day with a tee and thermal and felt some chafing in my right armpit. But it was just the one time and haven't had chafing since

Wearing this with a 3sixteen henley underneath in mid 30 temps. Supposed to get to 60 come Monday, so I'm trying to squeeze in a couple more wears before it goes back in the closet. Man I love this sumb*tch

The 'S' size is sold out

There's still one S available from SE from what I just saw…

interested in this jacket.
the only size left, that colud possibly be Ok for me, is L, but I am still not sure about the sizing…in the description it says that @Giles wears "L".
I have a similar IH product - Ultra-Heavy Flannel CPO shirt IHSH-157 in size XL and it fits me perfectly.
this makes me think that I might need this M65 Jacket in size XL…But in the description of the shirt it was mentioned that Giles wears "XL". So, if Giles wears shirt in XL and jacket in L, the L size could still be Ok for me.
@Giles Could you please tell me how L size fits you? do you have any freedom of movement and doest it have tight fit on your body?
(according to the weight/height you are taller than me, but I am more fatty ::) like 6'/200 lbs). -
I am definitely considering doing another production run. BUT we have a lot of M65's in the pipe for this Fall/Winter and I am not sure we should re-release this one yet…..
Hi Giles, are there any further developments/news/hints ?
I'd go for the IHM-20 XL, but does seem to be not available atm…
-
XL is not available and there are no plans to do a re-run I am afraid….
Thanks for your answer… looking forward to the other M-65 type jackets...

I wear 526Jod S size, its gonna be Xs or S for this jacket?
*just asking, those size are unavailable anymore -
I've been in the US for the last fortnight, and tried one of these on in Self Edge LA. It's an awesome jacket, but just a bit snug in the shoulders for me in an XXXL.
Sorry for the crouched pose, I was trying to fit myself in their mirror.
That's lucky…...

Finally get to wear mine (IHSH-160 underneath)!
Very happy with this jacket. Went with my usual UHF size, XL, and that is loose enough for an undershirt plus mid weight shirt underneath. Hope I get to wear it enough to get some fading before our mild winter fizzles out.
