IHSH-197-LIN - 6.5oz Linen "Denim" Sawtooth Western Shirt - Light Indigo

I think the fit looks good, however, if you're experiencing tightness do you think sizing up and then hot washing would do the trick? I have no idea how linen reacts in the wash so there's the possibility you'd get a small amount of shrink with a cold wash. But, sizing up would likely mean longer sleeves and body length than you want. Tough call for sure.
On a related note, I've always wanted a linen western but i'm not a sawtooth guy. I'd be interested in a lightweight standard western or maybe a linen version of the ihsh-13

The whole hot washing thing dosnt always produce a good fit because on westerns the double layered shoulders don’t always shrink as you wish.
I say before you send it back, give it a hot steam iron and see if the fabric gives a little. You’d be surprised how much some shirts “grow” with heat and steam, essentially since most IH shirts are one washed.

Thanks for your input, everyone. I’m not sending it back. I’ve decided to keep it. Even if the fit isn’t perfect, it’s exactly the fabric I want for the hot weather. I usually slim down in the summer, so the fit will hopefully be better in a few weeks.

Damn dude, for some reason your pic makes me want this shirt @daltmeyer. I never thought I would wear a sawtooth shirt but it looks great on you

Well, my decision was just made easy by the fact that XL's are sold out.
Any vendors pick this one up @Alex?

Thanks manufc10. I too was unsure about the sawtooth shirts. Now I own two of them. The other is the one with grey denim. Can't remember the number right now. Oh it's the 183. Both are incredible.

Looks like Pinkomo has this one but their product pics show the diamnond snaps on it…..hmmmm...wonder if their stock actually has the diamond snaps or if thats just a photo of an early sample?

Thanks G

If someone pimps to white snaps, will you guys upload some pics please wondering if it would look spectacular or wash it out too much.

Looks like an XL came back into stock and I pounced on it. This is not a typical purchase for me, linen sawtooth western shirt…. but that's what expanding your style is all about yeah? Seeing the pics of this one in the wild made me want to give this one a shot. fingers crossed.

Thats excellent @manufc10 . I think youll love it. Its exactly what I was looking for as far as a lightweight, breathable shirt for warmer weather. My closet was sorely lacking for warm weather shirts. But oh what a piece! This shirt has alot of style.

That's exactly what I'm looking for out of it as well. I have tons of T-shirts for warm weather but need more stylish lightweight long sleeves. This seems to fit the bill. Thanks to your pic I decided to go for it.

Ordered, pimped to MOP

Let us know how it works out for you. I like the idea of a linen blend shirt, but I'm not into sawtooth westerns. If IH decided to roll out a tradional western or something like the ihsh-13 in a linen blend i'd probably try it out. Definitely need shirting for the warmer months. I wore my 107 yesterday and I was melting in it once it hit 50.

Looking forward to seeing the MOP on this one. Please post pics.

XL ended up not working for me. With as light as the fabric is and how it drapes I would need a big Large or small XL. On it's way back to Gosport.

Anyone hating their 3XL I'm your man.
