@Matt If the barber thing doesn’t work out for you, there is always comedy. I can’t decide if you’re one of the funniest people on here or the most deranged…
They aren’t mutually exclusive.

If wives were wives before getting married then no one would marry them. That’s why there’s a whole new name for what they become after.
Absolutely fucking brilliant! This post will self destruct in 3 minutes. There are 2 people in a marriage, one’s always right, the other one’s the Husband!

@Matt it's not too late. just in time for the restock

Damn what a look @goosehd !!!
If you let it, the Pale Rider can really channel some 70’s outlaw biker vibes… and I am all about that!!
-
@goosehd love it
-
Maybe not the best place for it… but here goes.
Check out @outlawarchive on IG. Great history, controversial opinions, and pics of 70’s style and steez for days.
Also, the best podcast I’ve ever listened to is Relative Unknown. Holy shit it blew me away!!! And a big time local connection for me.

BACK TO THE LABORATORY, IGOR!!!
Unable to leave well enough alone, more experimenting today.
I was unhappy with the waviness that happened in the placket. And I’m still looking for an avenue to soften the leather.
-I wore it in a warm shower.
-slathered it with Bick’s neatsfoot oil. (This might be the secret sauce, TBD).
-Hung it on a hanger with a towel for padding. Hoping to avoid shoulder bumps
-weighed down the placket with crescent wrenches, using rags in between the metal and the leather. Just tight enough to keep the tools from falling off.
-also hung wrenches on the side. Why the sides? After wearing it the first time, the stomach area was flared from sitting down.
-now drying in the sun. It’s very cold here. 40 degrees F.
I swear this is my last effort to intervene on this jacket. Just hard wear going forward.
Full results with fit pics when it dries completely.
Again, no regrets with these experiments. I find it impossible to hurt this shirt/leather. Just hopefully getting closer to a functional, comfy moto shirt/jacket. -
@Autorotate it looks less wavy to me. Whether or not the weights work the colour is just stunning!

Has anyone used the Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative on the shirt? Any pointers on how and how much to apply?
