I went and got Mexican food while I was doing laundry two weeks ago so long story short I got garlic butter on my coin purse… I washed it in the sink at the hotel with some body wash but it still smelled. So I washed it again today.

That jacket looks really great @twin –-it can go another 20 years no problem.

3sixteen ST-120x Slim Tapered Shadow Selvedge
I bought these from @spitfiredealer a few years ago. They were pretty much as new when I bought them, save for a couple of dog biscuits he’d left in a pocket. I’ve thrashed the crap out of them since then, replaced rivets, sewn the patch back on and performed several, hurried (read: hideous) Frankenstein repairs. They’re a wreck but they’re a great fit on me and I bought a replacement pair from Rivet & Hide in September.

@Streetwise Hercules that's awesome to see mate. Great work!!

Man those look so sick! I've always loved the Shadow Selvedge, fades so nicely and they really break in to be so comfortable. It's insane how worn those are! Pretty much drained of indigo
-
Dug these out of my old cupboard at my parents house the other week. They were my 2nd (?) pair of selvedge jeans from around 08/09, and I remember being disappointed with how they faded...
... looking back I'd kill for these combs on any of my IHs!
Worn without a wash for almost a year if I remember correctly, bleughhh! To be a filthy teenager again...

We talk about our jeans telling a story... looking at the right back pocket fade I remember the exact wallet I was using at the time, it was a nice leather Levi's one that was given to me by girlfriend at the time's Dad after he told me that the one I was using at the time was too childish
-
And as I'm going down memory lane... my most beloved pair of jeans ever (despite being perpetually too small for me after following the wisdom spouted online at the time about sizing two sizes 'cause they'll stretch out bro...')
Excuse the OG Instagram filter, I took this for a fade contest in 2013 and forgot how bad mobile photography was at the time...

Before my first IH, I tried some cheaper options. Unbranded is a hard to beat deal and have held up well to some thrashing. Even these 11oz stretch UB244 are going strong after tons of yard work and wrenching in the garage. These are great when you absolutely must wear black denim in 90 degree humid weather , and black hides the greaseball stains.

Stretchy 11oz double black Unbranded selvedge and Brave Star 15oz type 3.

Yep sold out

Since I'm a rookie here, please tell me if this is not the place for pieces like this :).
This is my old faithful Tilak Odin Ventile Anorak. It's been with me to the top of Mt. Snowdon as well as to Javanese volcano tops. It's been hiking, biking climbing with me and it has evolved into a collection of patches, repairs and modifications. For that reason I am quite sentimental with that piece of outdoor gear :).

This a quite an interesting take on a Type II by the German brand Blaumann:
