@Matt man that’s a rad shirt! I’ve had loads of Subarus. Recently got out of the “fun car” game though, since all I do is haul stuff and commute. Driving a pickup now.

Integra from long ago and my current truck

@Matt yeah buddy, I regret selling my first Subie too, an 05 Forester 5speed. Really curious about the solterra and its Toyota cousin. I’m pretty dead set on the next 4Runner tho if the ever reveal the damn thing
-
@WhiskeySandwich I’ve had loads of Subarus...
Nice hawkeye! Had a few STI cars over the years too.
-
@Cents-or-Non-Cents heck yeah man! Nice blobber!
That hawkeye was gnarly and a lot of fun. Cosworth built block, Borg Warner EFR 7064 twin-scroll turbo, and a 6 speed from an STi, pushing 400 whp. Hell of a sleeper wagon. I miss it -
Here's a few more subies I've had over the years....

@Matt I haven't seen anything official about the next 4runner yet. We thought it'd drop before the Tacoma did - because it's been around longer. 4runner hasn't been updated in twice as long. I expect it'll be sick if it's anything like the new Taco and Tundra/Sequoia. Pretty sure the white with red/yellow strips was the anniversary one of the current body style. We'll see, I'm trying to be patient so I can pay off our Ascent first.

paging @den1mhead for pictures of his subie..

Yea please!

Nice @WhiskeySandwich! You got the Cosworth while I got the Crawford longblock (not built by me though). Was a total sleeper this bugeye. Black STI was my first Subie, around 2007 in Whistler Canada. Both pictures taken same spot but about 3 years apart.

very nice @Cents-or-Non-Cents i love both. Something about the older ones. The GDs will always be special. I loved my GR too, but my 2018 STi, lacked the same soul. It was too mature, even though it was the nicest driving of all of them.

My treasured Defender was sold off today. Owned since 1999 and passing it on with 250k km on it. Largely troublefree, a solid machine. I will miss it but I have increasingly less use for it and I’m definitely not a good collector. I got asking price for it and it sold within 18 hours after posted in Marketplace!
This is the new owner, he was happy. Originally from Hong Kong, loves british built machines, especially Austin Coopers. He’ll probably look after it better than I did.
