IHM-39-BLK - Military Serge A2 Deck Jacket - Black
-
Fit check coming in credit to @Graham for finding the perfect size for me
-
@Brian-bvdk looks great how do you find the sizing
-
@Brian-bvdk man that looks good. Did you go down one from UHF sizing?
-
@Mindfulbiscuit @SKT for me chest measurement is the key, going for around 59cm, so normally L or XL in UHF, went for L on the jacket ~ and it’s turned out perfect, it’s possible for me to have a UHF under the jacket (thigh fit)
-
@Brian-bvdk fit is spot on…hope mine fits as well as yours.
-
@Brian-bvdk that looks like perfection! Wear it in good health.
-
@Brian-bvdk looks amazing buddy.

My A2 showed up today and it is AMAZING. Thank you @Graham for tracking one down for me!
I have to wait for my better half for a fit pic, but here are some teasers in comparisons to my N-1 also size large.Black Serge v Navy Whipcord
Wool v alpaca pile. Two very different animals!
Weight in!!!
Happy to see cozy pockets on the A2 I do wish the A2 pockets were slightly larger both at the waist and the chest pocket. None of them fit my Iphone 13 well.
Interesting tidbit, the wool lining has a gap at the armpit. I havent tested it but might hold emergency cash stash or passport?
-
@Anesthetist oh man thanks for the update and details. Looking forward to the fit pics. Wondering if there is any “catch” in the sleeves when layering compared to the N-1. Like is it hard to slide your arms in since the sleeves are wool lined? Congrats man!

-
@Anesthetist love the info
-
@SKT I think the lined sleeves being hard to navigate is overdone TBH. I had an n-1 repro from BR and never had any issues w the alpaca lined sleeves. No issue with the A2 either
-
@Anesthetist looks like a perfect fit.
-
@SKT thank you, I was kind of sweating it with some people sizing down
-
so do these fit/feel like the N1 jackets....I take a medium in the N1 and its the perfect sweet spot for me where I can wear it with a tee shirt, but still room to layer up with a UHF or hoodie.....would you say these are the same fit wise or a bit more snug due to the lined arms?
-
@Darth-fader The N1 is slightly longer and slimmer. I havent tried mine w an UHF but the sleeves feel plenty roomy. I can try it out tonight for you if I get home in time.
-
That looks awesome @Anesthetist
-
@BalticBob I own one in green serg. Had to size down one size.
-
This is a superb jacket. Much lighter than my oiled N1 and more useable in Los Angeles during the colder months. Can easily toss over a t shirt in a wide range of temps.
