We utilise 2 different 12oz denims for our denim shirts.
China warp/Zimbabwe weft: IHSH-27
Zimbabwe warp and weft: IHSH-33 and 45The Zimbawe denim fades with quite a lot of vertical fading, very like a vintage denim
The Chinese/Zimbabwe denim fades a little slower and with more uniformity -
Just stumbled across this thread (missed a lot on holidays, it seems). Interesting, i didn't know about the different denims of the 33 and 27, I always thought they only differ in cut and raw/washed status. I also was wondering why my 27 doesn't seem to fade as nice as people's 33 - now i know the reason.

Yeah, i do, too. it just takes longer than i thought, after all I've been wearing it for four months now, at least 2 days a week and still only the cuff shows a little colour.

For those of you that have extensive wear experience now with these raw shirts.. how much bleeding is there on undershirts/pants? I had the 33 but never had a chance to wear it and now i find myself totally lusting after the 45 (picturing myself wearing this with the khaki 701s G sent me) but worried that they'd bleed all over everything haha

^Could very well be indigo transfer from the inside of your belt (though it seems a bit too much to be the case)?
