IHSH-292-IND - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo
-
Sized up. Perfect for ‘shacket’ wear.
Super relaxed fit which I am all about.
Could have also bought TTS and worn more as a straight up shirt.
But I’m currently all about the layers - here it is with the glorious 12oz IHSH-62-BLK under, working very well for a mild morning outing.
Also works fine as straight up shirt with a more relaxed vibe (second image) but in that scenario I think I would be more inclined to just throw on my 33…
I very much enjoyed rolling around on the floor with this on yesterday playing with my little boy - comfy as hell! -
@long_john86 I’m all for the roomy CPO’s… in winter I like to wear a tee and either a denim shirt or flannel under my 292/Untucked and in summer they double up as a loose jacket with just a tee underneath. Yours looks fantastic unbuttoned!
My sashiko CPO is awaiting me at home after work today, here’s hoping I’ve sized that right and it works out the same -
@long_john86 looking good. Looks like I’ll have to buy another when In stock but one size bigger! @Yoprst had a photo of his under a Jean jacket. I’m looking forward to trying mine under the lefty trucker.
-
@DeeDee85 cheers dude! Never even thought about the whole summer jacket angle, you’ve just blown my mind there! Hope all goes well with the sashiko!
@deanclean cheers, yes that’s the problem I found myself contemplating as well - do I add the size down to the wishlist as well for a different kind of 292 option
It’s an honour to finally be part of the 292 Crew!

Glad to see the fire is well fed here with the 292. Here is mine after wearing it last winter/spring. Just 46 wears (often to sleep in) and a few machine washes. I will try to take photos in the evening when the natural lighting is better. Here they are around 11am sun, laid flat on the walkway.
-
@Oaktavia WHAT?! 46 wears did that?! i need to wear mine every day.....
-
@WhiskeySandwich yeah man it was pretty much non stop worn almost 24 hours a day for 46 days. Switching to other shirts here and there in between.
-
@Oaktavia bout to go to town on this thing like i did with my 362. i just have too many shirts now to rotate hahaha.
-
@WhiskeySandwich I have the same issue hahaha so the best way I can deal with that is this way. Sprinting with a shirt worn all day and night for around 50 times usually does the trick with a couple washes. Eventualy I would like to be somewhat satisfied with fading and be able to wear a different, heavily faded shirt every day. Maybe when I'm in my 50s...
-
@Oaktavia This is an excellent example of why it's so fun and awesome to fade your garments in this denim 'hobby'. Please keep posting the progress here.
-
@Oaktavia looks superb. That cuff too, damn.
IH ‘PJ Method’ is next level dedication
Between the 33, 292, 293, I reckon those alone I’m probably good for shirts until I retire
But we all know that just ain’t how this ship sails…. 🫠 -
@Oaktavia I agree, i always try to start with a sprint, just to get to that first milestone. I enjoy a piece more once its reached a certain point then it feels like MINE. or something...
-
Looks so nice @Oaktavia. I love the fades, but I love the fresh new crispy denim too. I try to keep jeans and denim shirts as crispy and new as possible and then just enjoy the fading when it eventually starts.
-
@deanclean it looks awesome over a regular shirt as well. This beast is made for layers!

Got my new 292 back from snap upgrade. Can’t wait to put some miles on this thing!
-
Thanks so much for everything @Graham you and the crew are so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile.
-
Who knows guys if this 18oz CPO is made of the same denim as 18oz jeans including indigo used?
-
@Yoprst if i’m not mistaken it’s the same denim as where there 18oz denims are made of. So not the unsanforized they had a few years back but the same as they use on there cuts nowadays. Great fabric!!
