San Francisco, CA (USA)

Hi everyone,
I am flying out to San Francisco and then Las Vegas in a few days and figured there must be some shops worth visiting. I also figured someone on here would know the area.
I don't have anything in particular in mind, and shopping is far from a priority on the trip, but it doesn't hurt to look.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

SelfEdge in The Mission. Take BART to 16th and Mission, head towards Valencia St, turn left and walk down to 18th and there it is. Whilst doing that 'run' I usually get out @ 16th/Mission, and head to Four Barrel which is on 15th and Valencia before walking to SelfEdge. Lots of odd ball shops in the Valencia corridor.

Hi,
Sorry for coming on here out of the blue, but I'm going to be in San Francisco Feb 13th to Feb 19th and was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to be interviewed about their interests in Japanese denim and use of clothing fora. The interview would just be an open-ended conversation in the location of your choosing, it would only take about an hour, your identity will be kept anonymous and I can compensate you for your time with a $50 honorarium. I know this sounds a bit odd and spammy but its part of a wider research project on online menswear culture.
I've already interviewed a bunch of folks on a British forum, and while its a different sort of forum you can see from over there that I'm genuine:
https://www.fuk.co.uk/threads/looking-to-interview-fuk-users-london/1/While my own tastes veer more towards the Ivy Look, I'm partial to some more entry-level heritage stuff like LVC, Lee 101, Thorogood Boots and have spent my fair share of time reading clothing forums so I'm not a total outsider.
Here are my credentials as a researcher:

For any and all people who might be around the SF Bay Area mid-march, or to anyone close who can help out with even a buck, much love to you!
What’s up Iron Heart Familia! Happiest of New Years to you all!!
I wanted to share that I’ll be participating in an event that funds researching cancer in children and thought that our beloved community would be a great place to start! Any tiny amount helps!!
I’ll be getting my head shaved Mid-March in solidarity with the young’ns. And I’ll also be carrying weight during the event, which is a ruck, with other people who will be fundraising and participating!
Again, thank you all for what you can do, and if you can’t donate (I know all too well the financial realities of today) please do me a solid and share the info! Much love to you all, and I will be sharing pictures and wearing Iron Heart at the event!

There's a mid-century furniture store, DeAngelis, next door to Self Edge SF. It had some really nice pieces in stock, and my sister-in-law is very tempted by an original Danish armchair.
@Anesthetist I suggest you avoid Valencia Street if you want to preserve your financial wellbeing and marriage!
Mission Workshop have their store just around the corner from Self Edge on Rondel Place. I liked some of their technical apparel, there was a grey Merino hoodie that I might go back to pick up.

Have dinner at the Stinking Rose on Columbus Ave. If you like garlic. Great place.

Sounds like a dangerous mix of two of my favorite things [emoji7]
And Stinking Rose is great!
