So the young actors name was Tommy Rettig. This is from 1954. He was also the first kid in the Lassie series, starting also in 1954. A good year for him I’m guessing. Was Marilyn Monroe's youngest date ever when he escorted her to the premiere of River of No Return (1954) in 1954. Guy had a fascinating life, really. Google him… and just a slight correction, Monroe met DiMaggio around 1952, so….
