@Mister_Brue You are going to have a hell of a time!
-
@dwaynelum Go LEAFS! I am not even from Toronto, I was just brainwashed to cheer for them from my old man. You need some indigo pads to see what kind a fades a few clappers will make
-
@dwaynelum Cool, you’re playing at a pretty high level then?
-
@derek111 they have a new digital printing technology - maybe I could get some done in XHS print. Like the wrapped truck that was in some of the pre-party photos.
My Dad secured a signed stick from that '67 cup winning team - ink on wood. And like all good Canadian kids I took it out in the snow and played road hockey with it. Totally ruining a collectors item. Here's to AM34 netting 70G this season!
-
@Mister_Brue it's good caliber hockey - 50+ guys may have lost a step or two, but what they lack in speed they make up for in "hockey sense." Most of the guys have played at some higher level of amateur or pro. But mainly we do it to keep the teenager in us alive and enjoy a few "pops" and camaraderie afterwards. 1hr of hockey for 3hrs of shenanigans post-game.

@Mister_Brue Bell Centre is a pretty awesome venue. And electric crowd. I love the old barns for their character and history. But modern amenities sure are nice at a game.
-
@dwaynelum Super cool man. And you’re getting me dead excited for this game.
-
@dwaynelum Have you been to the Forum before they went to the Bell Center? I was at the Forum for the 1977 Stanly Cup finals Vs Boston. Ticket was 12.00 for center ice in the blue seats.
-
@dwaynelum oh man, that would be amazing. And yes here is to him hitting 70, maybe that C on the chest will give him yet another gear!
-
@twin I competed in pass, shoot, score competition at the Forum many moons ago. The finalists attended the game afterward which was broadcast on HNiC and it was the thrill of a lifetime. Habs were in their heyday then. When both the Forum and Maple Leafs Gardens closed I was lucky enough to secure a pair of seats from each that have moved with around the globe.
