First ride of the season and first ride on this bike. Fast and then even more fast. I’m trying to ride 2-3 x’s a week mixed in with heavy weights and gymnastics. It’s a great mind clearer for me. And I ride in the AM about an hour before sunrise and that is the best having the roads to myself. Usually 20-25 miles max does me good.
Bravo to the team at Factor. This is a really nice, fast, comfortable bike. Allez!!!! -
@TelemarkTumalo that bike is gorgeous. Happy riding, brother!

@Autorotate
the seatpost/ saddle is much too low mate
or the frame is too big for you -
@Daniel-San
Hahaha. Great eye!!Since this was the very first ride, something I discovered half way thru the ride, was that the seat post wasn’t properly tightened and it gradually slid down to the stop. FML. Very awkward riding back to the house!
It’s adjusted back where it should be… about 10 inches up from what you see in the pic. -
@Daniel-San and I hope it’s not too big!! I went back and forth with Factor on every single dimension on my body. Even compared my other two road bikes. Very thorough process.
The fit is nailed I think. I’m very happy with it.

had same problem years ago too.
Seatpost slide down during a ride
the way back was horrible
this is mine -
@Daniel-San damn bro, she’s fast standing still. I see an oversized derailleur cog. I did that too. Everything about my new bike is wicked fast. Maybe it’s placebo, but I’m gonna start tracking my rides in Strava so I can know for sure.

@Autorotate
yes it’s a very special edition from ceramic speed, only 550 were made worldwide .
The Sagan frame is pretty rare too.
have this musette signed by Peter Sagan an team mates at the tour of Belgium . Framed it .

Tarmac SL6 for me - for my previous bike, I built from the frame up (Far East carbon frame), but this thing is awesome, and a beautiful paint job. I can only marvel at what the latest iteration would be like to ride…
Excuse the background…

Had a bit of a late start this year with racing. Round 1 was a few weeks ago. Round 2 tonight.
-
Nice @BloodnThunder how did you do?
-
@Nik Team did well. Early break ended up sticking, which is rare for a crit. My team had two in it so my role shifted to playing a lot of defense and shutting down any bridge attempts. No idea what place I was, maybe 6th or 7th, but my team won so that's all that matters.

Nice work sounds really fun
-
It's typically really fun unless you crash.
-
One from last Thursday. The team went 1-2-3 in the sprint. I spent a good chunk of the race in a break that unfortunately couldn’t play nice enough to stay away so I took up lead out duties at the end.

Finally back on the bike
after one year suffering and a knee surgery! Still an issue with my lower back , but it’s ok at the moment. MRI examination is tomorrow, hope it’s not that bad.
Second ride today unfortunately ended after just 10 km , some bloody bastards smashed beer bottles on the street and this killed my back tyre immediately.
-
@Daniel-San hope thescan will show nothing bad mate! And what a €&$>£*^ who smashed those bottles..

No extra tube or patch kit with you? What did you do?
