Burg & schild BBB party berlin 2012

…and rightfully so. It is really gratifying to see him thus praised, he is super service-oriented, genuinely friendly (without any of this fake salesguy friendliness), and never gives you the feel he just wants to push the sale. It's Tim appreciation day here today, and dude, you deserve it!

^Nothing more to say.

There's this little addendum to the B&S party, as there was another event on the following Saturday, which was rather rained out, as you'll see.
Wanted to post it earlier, but had some tech issues.
The Burg & Schild crew together with the guys from Eat Dust hosted a drive-out for all those tough biker dudes…
First, a still life of helmets, while the owners killed time waiting for the rain to subside.
The row of heavy bikes was really impressive.
This tank appealed to my morbid sense of humour.
The pow-wow, when all dudes were briefed on the plan and on how to stay together (don't know how well it actually worked, as I only stayed for the beginning).
The excitement of the lookers-on rose, as did the frequency of taking pics.
The bikes were revved (imagine the sound and smell, at the high point, the whole street reverberated…)
…and off they went.
I admit to my secret wish of somehow coming up with an extra helmet and being invited to ride pillion on one of these beauties. But naturally, nothing of the sort happened. I hope everyone had a great time, the more than two hours rain-delay did not seem to harm it much.
It was a composition of denim, leather and bikes to behold!

And I also talked a lot with Giuliano, the owner of those fantastically aged Edwin pants.
They are already beyound the Holy Grail status. Hope to see them some day in the Jeansmuseum not in a garbage binSorry about my crappy I-Phone pics.
