nice one unharmed. can you comment on the weight / warmth?
-
I would call it medium weight. The lining is really soft and it's relatively fitted so I think it will be quite warm especially when you do up the collar. I only quickly tried it over the -70 but my initial reaction was that even that might be a bit thick for layering (for me at least - obviously this will vary between people a fair bit) so that might limit how cold it will be comfortable in. I'm pretty certain I couldn't get a hoody under there easily unless it was really thin.
-
A real "devils in the details" item, and this is loaded with details. It's heavier than expected, but still extremely comfortable, the hand warmer pockets are much appreciated, and the quality is completely next level.
-
Mega - looks like a great fit! Unharmed, thanks for posting your review/comments.
-
wow, glad my size is g0ne. really into it, timeless item. great fit flicks. mega, i know you not into smeduim, but i really think you could go smaller
-
This is an XL, I have already sized down from my "normal" size :o
I couldn't go down another size, I put the Dark Rider on underneath it earlier, and it became a little tight. I think that, due to the two layer construction and materials involved, it can be a little deceptive in its fitting. Trust me, I could not have sized down, it would have fit like a wet suit.

was still in bed when the UPS delivery guy came. so pardon my outfit. anyway as promised, here are the pictures.
the jacket is a beast! feels very high quality and well made. those who are still on the fence, don't sleep on this! grab em asap. they are lovely and are now my favourite piece of IH clothing. the green is a very nice tone that isn't hard to match with any clothes which i was initially worried. plus, the original M65 was in green so you can't go wrong with that.
more pictures of the jacket when im in London and Paris i promise. shit im in love now.

btw i was initially considering the Alpha Industrie M65 and im glad i got this instead. you know your jacket is gonna last with such high standard quality. don't settle for 2nd grade stuffs, take the best; take Iron Heart.
no offence to Alpha Industrie but i can't think of China producing better quality M65 than Japan. (Alpha Industrie's made in china)
