Iron Heart UK - New Offices (Again)
-
Paula and I faced up to reality this morning and agreed that it is time to find new business premises. When we took on the current office/storeroom, we reckoned it was a 2 year project. 17 months down the line and we can't swing a cat. The prospect of many 100's of jeans hitting here over the next few months is quite frankly scary…..
Paula made a few phone calls and this is the first one we looked at.
No more than 60 yards from here, almost twice as much space, but we can get it at the same rent as we currently pay.
Dating from the 1700's the Royal Navy made barrels in here......
Me likey, but then again, we did rent the same office for 18 months when we were rebuilding out house…..

You two are always up to something aren't you! Twice the space at the same cost sounds like a win all around!

Will move stuff for alcohol

Those new premises look great. Aesthetically and historically interesting. Good luck with the move. Hope you discover some hidden barrels of rum!

+1
Just booked accommodation for GCSM on 30th March, so the offer definitely stands.
-
Double the space, same cost, still an easy walk from the house? Sounds like a winner to me. Plus, the place looks fantastic, with lots of natural light, and that open ceiling is lovely.
-
Yikes, that is a bit daunting. And no matter how lovely it is, you don't want it to be an albatross around your neck, financially speaking.
On a semi-related note- man, I've gotta go to Gos Vegas one of these days…
-
I read your response to Julie, and she said, "Caroline would love that."
Guess I'll have to start planning a trip.:)
-
We have just been offered another business unit in the same square that we currently work in. It is very slightly smaller than the one pictured above, will require less work to make habitable, a secure garden but most importantly it is number 21…...As Paula says, it's fate.....

Beautiful. BlueJack.

Good stuff, I like your current location. Near to public toilets and somewhere to buy a decent sandwich, what more does a man need?
