@seawolf I remain a Green Bay Packers shareholder but I can't stand the game any more. It's been destroyed in the last decade+.
Also I became a big actual football fan in the early 2000's. Driving over an hour to Columbus Ohio to watch epl and Scottish premier at an Irish bar(and I don't drink lol).
Still my favorite sport to watch. And now I don't have to travel. Peacock and Paramount+ has almost everything. Go Blues!(Chelsea) -
@CosmoSix5 I feel like actual football is so much more civilized! I don't watch much, but when I do it's really interesting and entertaining. I should start watching some more.

Peanut butter and mustard sandwich. Get the feck out of here jelly.
-
@flannel-slut Add cheese and mayonnaise to that sandwich, thank me later.

There was this kid on my block growing up. He loved to eat peanut butter, cheese and mustard sandwiches. Here I thought he was the only freak like that out there. -
Absolute freak @Mizmazzle , imagine being a scoop of mayo away from a masterpiece.
-
@Megatron1505 haha. I tried that neighborhood kid’s sandwich once. Rather foul I recall. Of course, I didn’t like onions, bratwurst, or anything green back in those days. Love those things now. Perhaps it’s time to relive childhood experiences.

No to crocs. Have never owned and will never own. My kids have them for wearing to and from the pool and such, and my wife has them for things like taking the dog out.
I’ll add this to the discussion. I think 99% of the hype shoes that are worn by sneakerheads (or whatever they are called) are hideous. Jordans, Yeezys, etc etc. Wouldn’t wear them if they were free.
What he said.

@Megatron1505 flying pretty close to the sun with that bad Larry. Sign me up!
@Mizmazzle this neighborhood kid sounds like a man amongst boys 🥸

Crocs Echo Slides are the way, thank me later.

Halloween is dumb. Spooky imagery and themed products come across as forced and pandering to me, and I don't understand the appeal. It was fun dressing up when I was a kid and going door to door collecting free candy, but as an adult, it all feels incredibly lame. I still love that kids dress up and seek out candy, but adults who get super into it weird me out. There, I said it.
-
I feel ya. I mean I like the idea of the kids going out and getting candy, but then I think of the added time and effort (and mostly $$) to put together their costumes. Then the $$ spent buying candy to give away. Then the time and effort that some people put into buying and setting up decorations for halloween. I'd rather just spend the money on candy to keep in the house for ourselves.
We do buy pumpkins and cinnamon-scented things, but other than that I'd rather just celebrate the weather changing by getting out the jackets.

Also, I've been seeing those giant 12ft tall giant skeletons popping up all over the place in the last couple of years. Where the hell do people store those things the other 11 months of the year??
-
This is the first place we've lived where the community decorates arguably more and extensively (animatronic skeletons with smoke machines, lighting, and audio!!?) than for any other holiday, including Christmas. I still don't really care about Halloween in any way but it's kinda fun to see the extent people get excited here and decorate.
The whole candy and knocking on doors thing I could do without.
And @chrisjohnnick I know what you mean on the 12' skeletons by you. In those few hours around Nashville, I saw at least 3 of them. There's a house nearby us that has a 30' if not taller one they leave out year round.
