The Wild Ones - Viberg/Iron Heart Engineer Boot
-
first sample was made in my size right?
-
Just to make sure: is a brown leather one still in the pipeline?

the new pictures look better, the profile of the boot looked very strange to me in the first grouping but I think it was because the boot was at a slight angle. The instep looks a bit high, but I doubt there is much that can be done to change that. Gonna be a good looking boot with wear, just not sure with that instep it will work for my foot. Would be curious what my size measures around that area though just for shits and grins.

i think it would help the instep but kill the toes, as there is no support in the toe box it comes down fairly narrow, so yes it would push thte top of the foot toward the instep of the boot creating a better fit but would also do the same for the toes and not sure that there is enough room to do that.. jsut one of the problems with having low insteps

I talked to a guy at wesco and he told me that I could cut the toe part of the insole off and then sand it down with a dremel to get it to gradually taper so it wouldn't feel weird, then use double sided tape at the heel so the insole doesn't slip. I decided to just have to toe box stretched on my Wescos instead since I'd just bought them, but this might do the trick for you. Just a thought.
