Our Cars (dream or actual)
-
phew!
-
The GTI was getting up in miles and we have wanted to invest in an EV. Fast forward to today and a 24 Model Y is ours
-
I will be interested in what you have to say about it Matt
-
@Anesthetist would've gotten this if getting cars in singapore were as straightforward and inexpensive.. but an x1 is coming instead some time around June..
-
@louisbosco I cant imagine what a BMW costs in Singapore!
@steelworker I’ll keep you in the loop. It is a pretty different driving experience.
-
@Anesthetist not to mention it has a lifespan of 10years. but the x1 would be cheaper than the Tesla because of its power output and engine size..
-
@Anesthetist very nice Matt! We’ve been driving our M3 for 2 months now and never looked back! It’s amazing and a really different driving experience!
-
@Heavy_blue nice! I like the 3 a lot but w the tax credit the Y was less expensive. I am still figuring it out but thrilled so far.
-
@Anesthetist then it was a easy choice for sure! Enjoy and have many save miles
-
interested to hear if any of you with Teslas live in apartments and how you get about not having a personal wall charger as you would in a house..
-
@louisbosco that’s my situation and no problem or whatsoever. There plenty charging points around me and several supercharges. It’s some getting used to for sure but i’m still happy with my choice
-
@louisbosco my cousin just moved to Atlanta and is in this situation. He ends up charging at the level 2 at work and if he has to make a trip, he’ll super charge.

A tease of spring in the PNW this weekend. Just gorgeous. Got the Tundra out in the driveway and must have removed 10 lbs of winter grit and crud from underneath.
Love this truck and those IH 666's! One of the last of the V8's, Baby!
-
@TelemarkTumalo hell yeah! I just traded my last Subaru out for a 21. What size tires you running? I think I’ll stick with the factory forged wheels and upsize the tires
-
Well Done! Your Pro must feel a lot different than your Subuaru! I changed my oil yesterday and there is just something rewarding and relaxing about DIY.
My tires are Falken WildPeak AT3W 295/70 R18. Great all around AT tire for snow, rain, sand, dirt, yet still good road manners. The only knock I have with them is that are these are heavy at 68 lbs each. 10 ply and E rated plus the size I think explains it.
The OEM Pro wheels are just ideal in my mind. BBS forged and look the stuff. Good choice if you keep them. Some folks want to go negative offset and so either get wheels for a wider stance, but definitely do your homework as there are often clearance issues with that approach.
