well i will say it again thats a very nice looking bike allthough i cant see the exhaust from here

I saw the new Triumph Street Twin at the local dealer today.
Compared to its predecessor it looks a more modern bike. If you like the vintage vibe, then get the old one or a Norton Commando. I reckon this is closer to something like a BMW R nineT, being a retro modern design.
It looks about the same size as the existing bikes, but I didn't get a chance to sit on it, so I can't say for sure.
I like it. I don't think that the finishes look quite as premium as they do in the press photos, but there's some nice detailing on the bike.
I'm more interested in its big brother, the Thruxton R, but refuse to put down a deposit until Triumph release specs.

just swap out the wheels for proper wire wheels and your good to go

Does nothing for me whatsoever. Dull as a dull thing.

I wouldn't know where to start really, but the bike I find myself drawn to recently in this thread is the XDiavel. I think I'll go wobble around one one in the spring to see if I like it.
For what it's worth, I've been riding a sportsbike for the last decade and, while I've no plans on not having a crotch rocket at all times, I do fancy something a little different.
-
@Streetwise Hercules I like the XDiavel a lot too, though I'd be fitting the mid-controls accessory.
But I really like the DraXster concept that I posted a few pages back. And I've got a suspicion that Ducati are going to bring out something like that, so I'm inclined to hold off.
-
I'd like to try the XDiavel in each of its (3?) seating options. At 6'3 I feel I could do with something that offers me more comfort than rearsets and long limbs.
The Draxster looks bonkers, but I think the price tag will make my eyes water. In truth, I'm trying not to look too closely at it in case 'the want' sets in.

It's that time of year. Nearly warm enough to ride so I have MC on the mind. Just pulled the trigger on an exhaust upgrade.
The full Termi system is beyond rediculously priced. I found a Leo Vince mid pipe and Termi slip on for less than half the price. Pics to come.
Here is the setup:
