@Choko love me some freenote deck pants. Nicely done

@Choko I realize this is an old thread but I’m curious if you can comment on how this jacket fits in comparison to your riders jacket. Did you buy the same size?
I own two RJ1’s and am considering adding a FN leather jacket.
Thanks Brian

@Brandrea my leather jacket fits good. It’s a size 46 and my RJ1 is an XL so the fits are very similar. I will say the leather jacket is a bit smaller though around the chest. It’s my first leather jacket and I’ve read that it’s normal for them to be a little tight at first. It’s not uncomfortably snug though. I would recommend their leather jackets all day. The fit and finish is second to none

Thank you so much for this, great information.
Sounds like you and I wear the same size as I’m also an XL RJ1 wearer. I was thinking the 46 in leather might do the trick.
Great looking jacket on you, congrats!

I haven’t made a purchase in a bit and I’ve been specifically looking for something like this all year. I really need them to get their sizing a bit more standardized or offer the range of size.
The xl wells I have fits pretty solid so I went with xl Dayton as it looks like it should be relaxed (even though the shoulder seems to run a little smaller than usual)
Should be here this week.

@iammortalcombat nice man! Looks like a great shirt.
-
@iammortalcombat looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Congratulations!

We got in a few heater pieces from the fellas at Freenote Cloth this week.
The waxed RJ-1 in Tumbleweed w/ a very sick red Southwestern printed cotton liner and satin sleeves.
Then the 11oz Benson Heavy Flannel in a beautiful Picante color.

I'm a huge fan of Freenote Cloth shirts. I don't own any of their pants but their heavy flannels are fantastic. The Benson I have is really heavy and warm. They can be picked up on sale quite often which makes them a steal. They are an excellent value at full price but IIRC I picked this up for under $200 USD.... This pic was taken on a cold day here in Pennsylvania US and I was perfectly comfortable all day, even when riding horses.

I just purchased a pair of Wilkes in Kaihara 14.5 denim, very interesting construction for jeans with the double stitch outer and inner leg seams. Look forward to seeing how they fade
-
@Mizmazzle dope jacket man! Freenotes quality is so good. I love what they’re doing. I’m sure that thing is crazy warm with the fur
-
Just picked this one up today...took advantage of Franklin & Poe's BF sale which includes items already on sale. Shirt was around $150usd...wow. The color on this is just stunning in person. This was a steal....
-
@Mizmazzle That looks amazing!!! I can't wait for mine to be delivered...tt definitely looks up to the task in the snow...love it...thanks for posting that pic!

Love this Freenote jacket. The quality is unreal and the fabric is so unique. Should keep me warm this winter
-
@travisxray that jacket is sick man!! What kind of fabric is that? Love how Freenote can add all that plush lining but still keep the jacket so trim fitting. Pretty incredible.
-
@Mizmazzle It’s a 15 ounce pigment dyed fabric. Almost has a waxed canvas type feel but it’s not waxed. It’s really impressive in person. It’s “black” but has a almost faded color that makes it go with literally anything.
