I’ve sworn off fags until next summer and beer for a week after my party weekend. The fags are no sweat, but I’ve just dropped £1000 on root canal work after a 2 hour 30 min session at the dentists. I was told it would be £400. There will be beer tonight.

Yikes. £1000 for a root canal?
Coincidentally, I chipped a molar a few weeks back eating a pistachio and will have to get a crown which is gonna set me back $500+.

It was a bit more complicated than that. It was a job done poorly about 13 years ago that he had to open it up, and clean out. There was quite a lot of crap there that shouldn’t have been. Add a CT scan into the equation and off you go. Also, this is Norway.
Anyhoo, shit happens, I’m not dwelling on it. Onwards and upwards.
