Nobody does it like Gosport! -
That's good news and i'm happy for my german friends. Seems they struggled for a long time with shipping prices.
Unfortunately this is less good for other countries like mine (:flag-fr:) as we go from free shipping to 20€ but if it's the price to keep an healthy business at IHUK i'm fine with it.

It´s nice to have the good old brown paper bag back in Germany

@weftyarn Thank you

I am confused: where is the link to the updated shipping policy, and what is the good news several of the latest posts mention?

@Tobi we emailed everyone listed as being in the EU who is on our mailing list. Perhaps you have unsubscribed from our newsletters or never signed up in the first place.
In short, there will be some changes to EU shipping in effect from 31st July.
Here is the full text:
Dear xxx,
As I am sure you will be aware, since 2020 and the UK's withdrawal from the EU, we have faced many costly obstacles to maintaining a profitable business within the EU.
As a small business with tight margins, any additional fees can be catastrophic to us. We have been tirelessly exploring new avenues and processes to remove or reduce this charge, whilst maintaining the ability to ship with duty and taxes paid by us (to remove delays in shipping and hidden costs to you on receipt of your order), but we still face high fixed fees from UPS/Customs on all EU shipments. Additionally, when goods are returned to us, we are unable to recoup any of the taxes and duties paid on your behalf.
From 31st July, all EU customers will now pay a €30 shipping fee if your order value is under €200 and a €20 shipping fee at checkout if your order value is over €200, with goods shipped taxes and duties paid by Iron Heart. Further to this, returned orders will be charged a 10% restocking fee to cover some of the costs incurred on our end shipping the initial order to you (and paying tax and duty).
From 31st July onwards, ironheartde.com will no longer be an active domain, and all EU orders will go through ironhearteu.com. All details of the above changes will be clearly documented here on the 31st July onwards.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of the team at shop@ironheart.co.uk
Thank you for your continued custom, support and understanding.
