Daveo - did you get your Fjallraven from Oi Polloi
I did get it from Oi Polloi
Just a heads up. I recently ordered from Oi Polloi and did not read their Shipping costs etc. very well. Anyways, I had to pay UPS upon delivery with a check ONLY. This became a pain as I can not sit at my house all day with a check in hand to receive my shipment. Also, a pair of shoes I ordered were too big and the cost of shipping them back to Manchester was $30-$60. A cost too great to justify returning. I will now look to sell them on the Internet. Most likely you all know these things but just in case…

Nice item, I would be interested in some firm measurements if it is not too much of a hassle (Im 6'4", 100 kilos, see?)
Rgds
HMeasurements are spot on and i'd reckon this would be fine on you

Just had to order made to measure winter coat for winter 2011/12 as I'm so weeny.
Been buying coats from this company for nearly 20 years so they did a special unique design and a great price and I can pay monthly too to spread the cost.
Already received and wearing next winters jumpers as I've got no fat layer to keep me warm.
Won't have coat for many months but very exciting to create my own design anyway
:
Ordered 3 new shirts but having surfed jeans on iPod for 5 hours can't find a pair with my measurements.Need to be a Hollywood star so they make them to measure for you!!
Already busted clothes budget for 2011 and it's only 3rd June!!

I've been thinking about getting a Schott Pea Coat but I haven't seen one in person so I'm not sure?
I got the slim fitting one: good, stylish jacket but not as warm as you may think - if more than 5-6 centigrades below zero you need a warm sweater underneath. Also, it gathers ridiculous amounts of snow if you wear it when snowing.
Otherwise I recommend Burton or Arcteryx for functionality clothing, or an Alpha Industries NB3.

Thanks for the info Captain, it doesn't get below 5 degrees celcius here in Wellington (New Zealand) and I've never even touched snow so it should be sweet. I'd probably go for the classic model that's 32oz just not 100% on the fit.

Then you need what we northern people refer to as a summer coat
Dont know about the classic fit, but mine is spot on fit-wise. Substantial fabric, good engineering (made in Canada). Best pea coat I've handled (haven't seen the Buzz Rickson), I recommend a non-blue, as you probably almost always wear blue jeans.

Hi,
Winter's coming and nobody's posting!!!!Splashed out as I didn't need a coat last year as I'd just come out of hospital and was housebound for several months.
My coat is amazing:(one off design by me so they won't repeat it)
Made to measure (would fit Barbie)Japanese calf leather knee length trench coat
Lining - very heavy midnight blue cashmere
Lapels - biker style complete with studs on lapelsHope it lives as long as I do!(Winter coat is NOT on my 2012 clothing budget/wish list!
What is everybody else wearing for winter?
