Even if GAH doesn’t make them I’m willing to bet they aren’t buying them from China. I’m sure he is getting them from a US maker that he trust. I would be weary or hanging my 500$ pendant on a chain that isn’t from a trusted source. A fall from 4 feet on concrete would certainly leave a mark, a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link

Mines Italian. Like me. I don’t personally buy too much Chinese gear although there are some Chinese makers out there who make high quality goods. In the end though it’s my opinion that my silver ball chain is just fine. Asking someone where they got their chain then disparaging that chain on the other hand…

I definitely wasn’t knocking ya… I have no idea where your chain came from and honestly would at least consider doing the same thing. Gah didn’t invent the ball chain and there are plenty of great jewelry makers out there! I was commenting on GAH’s practice of buying ball chains instead of making them. I bet if they do still buy them they don’t buy bullshit. Their reputation depends on it

If I remember right, GAH uses outsourced ball chain, made in the USA. PA maybe?

@Matt I used an etsy ball chain for my Bill Wall cross and it worked just fine AND looked good to boot. Enjoy your chain and that killer pendant.

I’ve been a GAH fan for years! I Love everything they make.
Here is a quick photo of my little collection.
2A Curb Chain from my 30th a few years back. The BLB my wife gave my years ago. And as for the two Dead Biscuits, I purchased the bear, they sent me the stealy skull and when I emailed about sending the wrong item, they just sent the bear no questions asked!
(Honestly not much a fan of wearing on the rubber bracelet, they’ve fallen off before. So they’re on my “at home” SAK that was bought in Switzerland! lol)Not present are my wife’s ball chain with a couple rondells and a silver button pumped onto my IH windbreaker
The brass bead is by Lion Armory

@pechelman Not sure if I answered your question with my last post?
The rubber biscuits are a cool charm. But in my experience I found them falling off the rubber band. Maybe they would hold better onto leather?
