IHSH-178 - 18oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
I notice almost everyone cuffs the sleeves on these CPOs.
do they just run long in the sleeves? They do a little. Firstly Haraki-san designs with bike riders in mind. A little length in the sleeves is good when your arms are stretched out. Secondly these can be worn layers as a jacket, over other shirts, sweaters etc. In that case the extra arm length is also useful.

I saw that the 177 is being replaced by a similar CPO using a 19oz LHT. Is it the plan to likewise replace the 178 with an overdyed version of this new 19oz LHT, or will it be restocked as is? TIA
It certainly won’t be restocked as is because the denim used on both the 177 and 178 is the same, and is out of production. This is why the new denim is being researched.
Both the 17oz and 18oz denim CPO’s have come in indigo and overdyed versions. I’m sure this will be the same.

We've run out of the 18oz denim that the IHSH-177 and 178 are made from. So we are having to find a suitable new denim for both. We tried the vintage 18oz, did not work, so we are now trying the 19oz LHT.
Very nice!! Can’t wait to see them.. also how about some in the IB 19oz

I'm yearning for a CPO @Giles How are the denim trials and in particular the 19oz LHT tests going?

@Jett129 Personally, I would say anything heavier than 19oz is too heavy for jacket territory.
My 526Lod at 19oz, sometimes pisses me off when I am wearing it. 16-18oz would be my optimal weight if it was possible. I have the 555S-16 jeans, would have been interesting to see a CPO cut out of that IMO.
