IHM-29-NVY Alpaca Lined Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Navy
The classic N1 deck jacket was first produced for the US Navy in the early 1940s. Much copied since then, it has become a true style icon in its own right. The Iron Heart version remains pretty true to the original jackets on the basis that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". The one major, but unseen, change we have made is to add an additional interlining to increase wind resistance. This piece is a truly warm winter jacket.

My favorite color of the deck jackets being offered.

Yesss. Looking forward to seeing the measurements and ordering.

Christ I love this thing.

Fantastic. Looking forward to this quite a bit. If anyone misses out on a S or a M, I remembered how quickly some of these have gone in the past and ordered both S and M, but I'll return one of the two. I feel a little bad for doing that, but I just don't want to size incorrectly and miss out. Based on measurements, I'm more confident in the small being the better fit, but not enough to only pull the trigger on that one.

Looks like S and M also moved fast this time… for me I think I'm between M and L. Most likely an L. I see 5 left in L so I "should" be safe for now.
For those of you who own this, is sleeve length a problem? To me the measurements on the sleeves seem really long. Not sure how easy this jacket would be to have the sleeves taken up either. Anyway some real world experience with these would be great to know, especially regarding the sleeves.

I don't own a N1 but owned IHM-15. From what i saw on others and on my IHM-15 cuffing the sleeves was not a problem if they are to long, doesn't look bad at all, i think most people won't even recognize it.

In comparing the IHM-15 and the IHM-29, the 29 seems to have longer sleeves, which is preferable for me. I would probably have preferred a small in the 15 based on the body, but the sleeves would be too short for me, as the medium sleeves are just barely long enough. The shoulders on this are fairly narrow in comparison to the 15, so I guess that account for some of the extra sleeve length, but having even an extra inch compared to the 15 wouldn't be a problem for me, personally. My hope is that the small will have wide enough shoulders and long enough sleeves to work out and I can return the M, but we'll see.

Just in case you want to move your medium 15, let me know @cander49

Haha no, not looking to move it.

Got em in! Really awesome jaacket! Small is perfect, so the medium went back. Anyone who missed out on M should keep an eye out.
