Looks great, dude! [emoji106][emoji41]

Thanks a lot. they were comically tight when I first put them on. I can't believe how much they have relaxed with a little wear. I slept in them and I almost had an accident trying to get them unbuttoned when I had to pee.

In case you are wondering I got the waist to stretch from a 36.2 to a 37.5. No sweatpants shorts underneath necessary.

Initial impressions of the jeans are positive. I'll preface this by saying I have spent almost every waking moment of the last 3 years in some sort of 25 XHS, so the denim feels super light and comfortable. It's like a weight has been lifted from my legs. The hand of the jeans is indeed soft and smooth. But I starched and ironed the hell out them to get them crispy feeling like I enjoy. I paid careful attention to ironing the creases next to the selvedge, ironing them while they were slightly damp.
The high points on my pelvis are sore from the waist. But this has subsided now and the jeans are very comfortable. I was worried about having a miserable break-in period with these. But I don't think that will be the case at all. They seem like they will be very comfortable and pleasurable to wear. The denim has a similar weight and feel of the denim from the blanket lined rider's jacket I had a few years ago. It's really great.
After spending a long while in 'indigo blue overdrive' I enjoy the slightly subdued color of these due to the more exposed weft. I think I will be keen on living in these for a while.

^ the new shirt is slightly too big. But I am going to give it a hot wash and see what happens. I also already moved the buttons on the cuffs to close them up about 3/4 of an inch. I'd rather it be too big than too tight. I hadn't counted on losing so much weight recently.

@neph93 yeah I have been known to wear a pair of cutoff sweatpants under some of my new pairs to try and stretch the thighs. Sorry I mentioned it a few times. It helps add some padding and stretches the shit out of them quick.

Filthy you ever get jeans hemmed?

not usually. Sometimes like if they were a work.pant of khaki I would.

I've been living my best life wearing my 634XHSIB during the day and sleeping in these at night.
These are the most comfortable IH jeans straight out of the bag I have ever owned. They feel soft and breathable. Very comfy already.

I've had a couple alcoholic beverages and I can't stop admiring how soft my new jeans are.

1st like real days wear and miles of walking. These aren't as stubborn as I thought they would be. Lots of subtle indigo highlights starting to show all over
The lights in here might as well be candles so I used the flash…
Edit: I forgot to write the hand is super velvety soft. They aren't as shiny and sleek as regular 21 oz denim is but very interesting. Very easy and pleasant to wear. Seem to breath okay on a hot plane that was like a sauna today.

Its a cool denim. They turn super soft and comfy as hell. I use them as a more dressier pair, if you can say that about denim. Blessed to be able to wear at the office whatever i want. They can look good with a nice button down. They have a very smooth and even hand, and the fact that you see more white makes them look a bit more polished for a work pair. Plus you get comfort for days. Do to their softness, they drape very nicely also, so you can wear them with dressier shoes if needed. Very versatile pair of jeans.

If you don't count sleeping in them I've got about 7 real days wear into these. Getting bruises all over.

Gonna double post to emphasize that they are crazy comfy and CRAZY SOFT HAND! The hand feels like 25 year old jersey knit sheets, it's so soft. Someone asked me why I was stroking both my thighs at the same time, and I quickly replied, "leg cramps." I didn't want to be, "I am admiring the soft hand of my jeans."

Like when someone asks me why I'm staring at my jeans for so long – "Is there something on them?" "Why, yes there is…" Not actually but instead looking at how sick the cotton fibers look as light strikes them...

I think IH stuff transcends being just jeans or clothes when you consider all the sensory indulgences they provide. Each piece never fails to blow my mind.
I wrote this back in 2013 about the SH-64 and I feel the same about these jeans.

I am not one that thinks it is appropriate to worship material things; but it is like God made this shirt. It is like an answered prayer or something. It is perfect in every way. Flawlessly crafted. Definitely my most favorite shirt ever. I got this to replace my favorite hooded sweatshirt that I have worn for 8 years now. There could not be a more suitable replacement. And I went from being sweatshirt frumpy to sleak and stylish. Thank you very much Giles and Paula! I love it!
