No need to soak, Haraki has already done that for you.  The SR's were raw, so needed soaking to a) shrink and b) settle down the constructional stitching….

So I'm trying to decide if I should get these hemmed by G…my 634S say "34" for the length on the leather tab, but the 634S sizing page says that a 33 waist should be 35.1" long...So, brand new, would they actually be 34" or 35.1" in length, anyone know?

Don't go by the tag.  Measure them to be sure and get them hemmed to that length.  Don't forget, these are 37, not 35
