Viberg

Just agreed with Haraki that these will be the next Iron Heart/Viberg collaboration (don't worry, we have not forgot the black.black scout boot).
They will be offered in 2 versions, the Vibram Herald Sole and the Honey Lug sole.
The only change between the images below and the production version is that the Iron Heart/Viberg stamp will be on the inside of the ankle and not the outside.
Just working out pricing, but they will be available in Late February/early March and will be made to pre-order. 50% down and 50% when complete.

These are gorgeous, Finn! Service Boot maybe? I like the 4 Horsemen x Viberg ones Beatle has a litte more tho, I'm just a sucker for suede.
Anybody know the turnaround time when you have your boots made to order? I like all these fancy special editions floating around, but I would be pretty happy with a simple black Bobcat with the aforementioned herald sole. Money's tight at the moment, but at some point I'd really like some Vibergs in my life.

I'm hoping for some "student-version" price as well. -
I'm loving those … How did you size for these compared to your Trubalance size in Alden's?
-
I got size 8.5 on the Vibergs. I usually wear 9D in Alden (Barrie, TruBalance).
Fit is comparable to the TruBalance.
Very comfortable in the Toe box but break in time surely needed in the heel area.
Already got blisters on my left heel just by wearing them in class last night. But once the break in period is done, these boots definitely can take a beating.

guess they are custom ordered, why not just shoot Brett an email brett @ workboot.com and ask for a quote and options…

Cheers Rocket. Mail sent. Also want info on these ones that he's wearing:

Think i'm gonna pull the trigger as soon as I get the info needed. Can anyone advise me on sizing? I'm a UK9 in everything I own.

If they size similar to the Scout boot, I believe the general consensus is 1/2 smaller than the Alden Trubalance fit. Though, I find these to be particularly snug with respect to the width. And, regardless of how you size, a thick sock is recommended during the break-in period. (My heels were chewed up something awful the other day and I seriously contemplated taking them off and walking home barefoot, ha.)
