+1 on the great fit jbphoto

nah, jb.
the photo just has a lot of depth despite it being just a corner of your world. the great images on your wall & the fact that your 47 seems to match your bed (linen & all) is just cool to me. real good sh!t. what jeans are you rocking? imho the fit should be marketed & sold.

Thanks man. I guess being a photographer and all I'm doing things right ::) That corner of my room kinda just sums me up as a person..with some of my photographs on the wall and all my favorite books in the shelf.
I should have specified that I'm wearing my Busters! It's funny…these jeans are just meant to be for me. I have a tiger tattooed on my ribs, (the patch has tigers on it) and my mom has called me Buster since I was 6 years old. As soon as I saw the measurements and details I was like fuck....Busters for life.

This test was unscientific, but I also bought a 48 in M. It's too big, so I washed the 47 on warm with high heat in the dryer to see if I could make it fit. The fabric feels really similar. It didn't shrink in length, still 29, but it did shrink from 20.5 to about 20 at the chest, and the arms feel shorter.

hm, i actually dont see that shirt being snug on you but i do not have to wear it either.
but you should keep in mind that this shirt will shrink after wash. all my shirts (IH) did. so if its snug right now it may come out too small afterwards and actually that stuff is too expensive for not fitting

FIT QUESTION - I have last year's Ombre flannel shirt in SIZE XXL. This size fits well but I definitely do not want it anything smaller. I'm 6'3" 195 lbs. Should I go for an XXL in this year's version of the shirt? My concern with going to the XXL is I do not want the body of the shirt to be too wide.

It's hard to say for sure, but just to give you an idea I can tell you what I did with the 48… I have the 38 in S from this spring. It was a little on the small side for me, but generally worked well. When I saw the 48 ran smaller, I went up to a M, and it was way too big. After a wash it's just a little too big, but not enough to make it look bad.
The upside it that it seems to shrink in the width and not the length. The arms do shrink in length. The loss was about 2.5% for the 48 and 47.

Is this a one run production item? There is only one left in my size/color.

So…is the general consensus to go TTS? Because, it looks to me, as per G's measurements, to size up 1.
Then I look at SE's measurements…and it's apparent that would be a colossal error.

In my experience, I went TTS which fit pretty much perfect. However, unlike Dave, I didn't take into account the post measurement so it might be a bit snug.
Hope that helps.
