Ebbets Field Flannels

I hear ya Monday, and I had considered cancelling the order, but after all they're doing I would just feel too guilty. Damn my conscience :-\
-
oh Mega, at least you will get alot of headgear for the winter…
random noticed, I would not be suprised when sooner or later the orig package shows up, since from the day the USPS updated their website tracking during the summer months (or better downgraded it, since it does not work anymore most of the time) this happen all the time....
I wondered the same thing Rocket, but I would be honest and return the package.
-
So the missing package arrived today !!!!! And I was honest and emailed EFF to let them know that they could cancel production of the second jacket, to their credit they said that to reward my honesty they would still make me the Tokyo Giants cap, and mail it for free. All in all their customer service has been absolutely first rate, they told me that they take a bit of a hammering on Social Media sites for their delivery time, but they are an artisan company, making small scale production runs in the USA, so I think a little delay is acceptable for what you get.
Onto the products…..
This is my Brooklyn Eagles Grounds Crew jacket, it cost me $79.99, the main jacket is made in China (not a company for Seul), and detailed in the US. The detailing is the felt labelling, and all the tags.
The outer shell is made from a poly/ cotton mix, the inner is nylon, and the lining is polyurethane foam. The jacket is seriously light, but very, very warm, on a similar level to my IHW-02. Quality wise, it is extremely good for the price, the stitching look uniform, and the detailing is high quality. The cut of the jacket is good, and I would definitely say that it was well worth the money.
This is my Sacramento Solons ball cap, it is made from a wool blend, with cotton piping, and a silk lined peak. The quality is the best I have ever seen on a ball cap, but like an idiot I measured my head wrong, so it's too big. This is quite incredible for someone with as giant a melon as me. Apologies for the crapper than usual pics, combination of iPhone and darkness = shoddy flics.
All in all, I had some ups and downs with my order, but the impression which I am left with of Ebbets is of a genuine company, with great customer service, value for money products, and a market niche that will hopefully see them grow and succeed. I highly recommend them.

Since it's a wool cap it will shrink some if you need it to.
This is true, but a general rule with Ebbets hats is to go smaller rather than larger as Wool also stretches easily. Shrinking Wool is easy to do, however gauging the shrinkage is not…
-
The cap was a freebie comp, so I'm attempting shrinking now

Luck with that. Why not sell it and buy the right size before it is damaged?
-
Thanks Rocket, I am more than happy with the value for money and quality.
Lando, too late I'm afraid. Not that the hat is ruined, it has shrunk down quite well so I'm pleased
-
Nice indeed and well done to EF for 'rewarding' your honesty. Can't figure out why the jacket body is MIC though since EF push the US made ethos, kind of dishonest if you ask me.

Glad it all worked out for you sir!
