Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots

And probably less than 1,000 miles…...
Far less. The stitching on the back of the heel, fastening the upper to the sole, is also coming lose.
The upside is, these cost more than 500 USD here in Norway, so I can get my money back and get a pair of black white's semi dress with medallion cap toe for not much inbetween.

Wow lucifer! These look bad.
Mine are not that far, I guess because I gave them straight from the shop to a cobbler. But I can see them getting a bit loose at the heels.
I would definitely not buy Wolverine again and can not recommend people to get a pair. At 400€ one could expect more. Even though the leather is amazing, you can find Horween somewhere else… -
Yeah, only paid $220 AUD for mine about a year and a half ago, replaced the first pair and got a second pair that are going strong, mostly wanted to sample the chromexcel before I invested in a pair of vibergs in the same leather. That being said they are still the most comfortable boots I've owned.

Haha, yea, I find it suprising and funny that blutooth has been lurking for over a year, and that is only the third post. And yes, that reminds me of spam for sure.

Well before reading this thread about the heel issue, I bought a pair of the wingtips. I just really liked the cut/style of this boot. I tried selling them (bought them a little too big) but w/ no takers decided to man up and keep them. I put in some jell inserts, they actually fit great now and to be honest its a well made shoe. I just hope I don't have any issues down the road.
