Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
We value your input.
This is your place to have a voice and suggest stuff that we should make.
Please make sure you understand our look, style and overall aesthetic before you chip in with a wish list of everything you have ever wanted but been unable to find.
We can't guarantee we'll listen and we may be so rude we that don't even reply, but we do read every suggestion.
We love them.
Thanks, Giles & Haraki

The ultimate 634S style for me would be a double front logger-style jean in the 21-22 oz. denim–talk about bullet-proof! I've also wondered about 22 oz. black denim MC chaps to wear over blue denim Ironheart jeans--I like the idea of that contrast in color.
Other than those, nothing else comes to mind just now.

Great ideas Cosmo! I am a Super Black 16oz - 22oz addict. Got me thinking. I will post ideas soon.

I remember now…how about some 1911-style (201 No. 2) cinch-backs in 22 oz black w/silver suspender buttons and heavy leather braces?
-
Two things I could imagine very well.
1. Some nice grey denim. Either something with a really neutral tone or two different models, one with a cold grey and one with a warmer tone.
2. Slim chinos/khakis are quite big now. I could imagine a 16oz superblack material used in a really classic plain front chino cut.
Asp, are you talking about doubling up on the 22oz material on the front part of the legs? I just got a pair of 634SR (awesome). Doubling up on that would definitely yield something that is too uncomfortable and unpractical for normal wear. Sure, if you're a logger or blacksmith, then maybe. But chances are you'd wear leather as a blacksmith and something kevlar reinforced as a logger.
Nice forum, by the way!
Cheers,

Ok, I see. I mean the 634SR material is so thick, my friend was asking me why I was wearing a carpet. No kidding. It is quite comfortable, though. And although temperatures here are around 25C right now, it is not too warm.
One more idea for what to produce next. I would actually like to see some nice shoes or boots to go with the jeans. You know those natural color leather belts and wallets that are all the rage. I really like those. It would be very cool to get some shoes in that kind of leather. A little biker influence wouldn't hurt. I know the Ironhearts like that. At least make them tough enough to be worn for biking. Oh, and while we are at it. Can you imagine a D-pocket biker leather jacket in that color? I've never seen one but I am sure if IH made a limited edition of 500 pieces from horsehide, they could sell those at $1500-2000 a piece. Easily $500 over production cost and that's if you choose only top materials.

Till,
I wore my 634SR in NY end of September and it got seriously hot around the calves and ankles.
If you are after a natural belt then here is the mother of all belts:
-
Oh, yes. Believe me, I've seen it. But can't afford that price tag. There is also another belt I've seen from a German manufacturer made of steerhide that is 8-10mm thick, same color, sand cast brass buckle, half the price. When you have the thickest denim, might as well top it off with the thickest leather. But I do like that belt for sure.

ya know, i have always dug the 1634 jeans in regular black and would love to see another run. they are much softer than my superblacks and the dark regular jeans coloring is a great changeup from the indigos. (if anyone has any old 1634 jeans in a 32 they want to get rid of…let me know!)
also, how bout this as well? flannel lined 634s? for the cooler climates.
more super heavy flannels, more super heavy T's, and more accessories.
what about the MELTON in black and maybe red?
dang!

Simon, we're doing a Melton in black. You may not have been the first person to think of a lined 634S, watch this space.

First post for me here, Great forum. I, for one, would like to see a short sleeved IH-shirt for those warm summer nights. Also, another more workwear style shirt would be nice to alternate with. Personally I think the chinos idea is great!
Thanks Cecil. Graet ideas. What fabric would you see the work shirt in?

I've been wanting short sleeve IH shirts for a while now, and we do get quite a few requests for them actually.
