IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

@CLJ:
I'm wondering if the IH634S is the best starting point?
Hi CLJ! What do you mean by best (e.g. fit, denim character, fading properties)? Also, what is your preference: a straight fit, slim fight, tight fit? Have you ever heard of the overdying process? I'm sure that you will find your pair and wish you good luck.

Hey all. I'm looking to pull the trigger on what will be my first IH jeans. I'm wondering if the IH634S is the best starting point?
The IH-634S is the patriarch of all Ironheart jeans. It's a classic fit, with a denim unlike most on the market. It's also the most versatile, suitable for work and play
There's a reason why it's the flagship model

What I was trying to say was is this model going to give me the best impression of the brand experience and further my interest in it. Straight fit works best for me and I've done the measurements as per the guide here. I'm a big build and the tapered/slim type cuts look a bit silly on me. I've done a bit of reading today and I think I'm starting to get a handle on things. Never hurts to seek wisdom and you guys confirm my thoughts. Waiting on the tax return now!

I didn't start with the 634s, and I wish I had now that I have them. I can see myself only buying them for years to come. I would certainly recommend these, especially if you have a bigger build like you suggest!

Yes. It's the flagship cut in the flagship denim. If any single item summarizes Iron Heart, it's the 634S.

Yes. This is a classic straight cut.

Yes. Then you should stick with the 634S. All the other models are slimmer in some way.

been wearing my 634S the whole day today. first time wearing it but because it's sanforized, it feels awesome to wear. and for a 21oz jeans, it's surprisingly breathable and doesn't make your legs feel like they're in a sauna room.
the cutting is also suitable for guys with huge thighs. my thigh were maxed out to the seam (no chance of even trying to pinch for allowance) on the 666S so these felt a lot better.

Not true. The 1955 is a wider cut
Damn, forgot about those completely. Thanks for catching that.

Great shot nem! This thread should always be at the top of the "Bottoms" board.

Without checking, can I assume that NYC pic has already been galleried? It's incredible.
And Nem, please don't trade away your 'old man' 634s. You really should hang on to such great jeans.
