Mister Freedom

this is the Mister freedom piece that put them on the radar for me. i know slow to the party, but it's just a dope piece. don't wear it enough but you know
think i'm going to get some of that Fjall Raven wax to say i did it:
-
Ah, I thought it was the IH Deck Jacket when I saw your WAYWT, but then I didn't recall you posting your interest in that item. Looks great. And the cuff on your jeans has finally swayed me to take all my pants to a tailor to get hemmed.
having the same thoughts right there mate…

the cuff. . . just so you know & to get way off track, i wear my devil's single cuffed, double standard injun cuffed, beatle stacked, just-rolled-out-of-bed-have-to-help-my-wife-get-some-stuff-up-the-stairs-mess-don't-take-a-picture-of me
the secret is some times i wear them like a tax paying citizen on my waist & all that & other times i wear them like well you know. they are hemmed to i think a 32 & just a versatile jean. i do love the devil so much i have a pair of those 25s sitting waiting for me
now back to mister freedom. my deck jacket is from the second run & i like the lining on this one better than the initial run. the buckles are painted flat black & are chipping to show some nice patina/wear
if i could change one thing about it i would put the neck of the Iron Heart IHM-01Whipcord Deck Jacket on this cause the mf version just kind of flaps around & really doesn't provide any neck protection
-
maybe as it's different enough. i have to take care of end of year stuff & if one is still around in the new year than maybe i might go for one.

Isn't Unionville the most awesome shop.
Luckily for my credit card I didn't have much time. Otherwise would have been totally bankrupt. -
Mister Freedom Gunslinger Jumper (Size 38)
I did a hot soak for 30min to get some shrinkage out. Plenty of indigo in the tub, but still plenty dark on the jumper itself. Really loving this piece! I'll post fit measurements and photos once it's done drying.
Pre-Soak Measurements:
P2P: ~21.5"
Sleeves (Shoulder - Cuff): ~27"
Front Length: ~26.5"
Back Length: ~29"

Mister Freedom Gunslinger Jumper (Size 38)
The fit is perfect after the hot 30 min soak. A good amount of shrinkage, about 1.5 - 2" in the chest, 1" in the sleeves, 0.5" for the front length from the bottom of the collar, and 2" in length on the back. There was some definite indigo lost, and is noticeable when worn over my MF Midnight CPO below, but I'm sure it'll wear well! Wears great unbuttoned and buttoned as well.

it's an interesting piece, can't believe it shrank that much with a soak. how heavy is it? looks like it would be real nice as a warmer weather jacket
-
Looks great TWELVEAM.
I'm still looking to get rid of my Liberty Issue CPO (xs) if anyone is interested.

Thanks Licorice Noose!

Yeah I was surprised too, but it fits to what I expected it to be. I believe the jumper is 12.4oz. It's nice when layered with the CPO, and it kept me plenty warm. Bleeds A LOT.

It reads:
"I am no authority on fashion. Garment industry brands are free to do whatever they deem tasteful and ethical.
I just wish medias dabbling in fashion would start advocating healthier trends to their followers. By NOT promoting the extremely polluting denim distressing washing process, blogs for the "Cool 1%" would do the 99% a healthy favor. Even if caring for the environment seems to lack the cool factor
