Things That Make People Stop and Ask

Almost always it's one of my many jackets that draw the comments mostly good, a minimal number of times ridicule and quite often awe.

People have been proposing marriage over my new IHSH-08 Black Denim Western Shirt and IHSH-17 Lined Chambray Western Shirt. Seriously, I'm complimented constantly when I wear these [and I've been wearing NOTHING BUT these 2 shirts since I've received them….I alternate between them, day in, day out -- this is ridiculous so I bought two more IH shirts yesterday] ! People always stop to touch and feel the shirts. It's a bit awkward at times but these shirts are so striking that people can't help but notice ! A colleague of mine started "feeling me" in the middle of the company cafeteria yesterday, like, in front of the executives – it was totally innocent but his hands couldn't help it, he wasn't even aware he was doing it ! He was ooh-ing and aah-ing over the IHSH-08 Black Western shirt ! Guess who this guy was ? "Greg" of dragginjeans lore ! I told him, Greg, if you want this quality and beauty on YOUR body, you gotta pay for it man !

I get a lot of questions and comments when I whip out my 12 yr old S.T. DUPON 'FIDELIO' fountain pen. Bought it for ~100 € when a local store went out of biz. It's worth about 350-450 €… Getting a new point for this (just the golden tip of the pen), costs 190 €... I had to get a new ink pump for it as my original one started leaking, but since then I just started using cartridges again. Much safer at work. I absolutely love it. Black ink btw, of course.

Just received a compliment on my IHW-01 while I was procuring medicine at the local dispensary. They guy who complimented it said "Man, I didn't know Iron Heart made Wool?"

@tfar:
A random guy knows IH?
Well, not just a random guy I guess. He told me he knew Kiya and that a while ago he had been used as a model for Self Edge. Seemed like a really cool guy who had good style. Also, SF is a small city so if you are at all fashion conscious here certain people, lines, stores stick out in the crowd.

That explains it. Thanks! Unless I meet with one or two friends from the fashion design school days, nobody ever knows what I'm wearing. I like that, actually. The only exception would be if logos or patterns are obvious, e.g. Burberry trench, Barbour, Belstaff. Funny that all those are British and it's the British who should be into understatement.
I get comments on my Aero leather jacket and the Stone Island nylon bomber I wear in the photo. But nobody ever comes and says "Man, I love that Longshoreman jacket!".

I know but they kept the flag label and design philosophy.
True and also the English made and designed inner label confusingly.
