Takin' it a little backwards here, I started out by posting in the DC4002 thread, and now I saw this Hello Thread. Well here goes:
Hi I'm Tue, from Denmark. 38, father of three, married, working with communication as a journalist.
I got smitten with the IH bug last year through a friend. And now, here I am wrestling a pair 25oz jawns. -
Hello all, I am not sure if I am wrong to post here, as I posted in the where do you live too.
I am in Berkshire in the UK, and am currently trying to break in my Ironhearts that I bought years and years ago, but never wore as they were always a little (too) tight.
I can still remember speaking to G on the phone to order them….and realising that I was speaking to someone who understood totally my thing for denim, and all things related. As well as a thing for denim, and my new found love for my Ironhearts, I also have a thing for the Aero jackets too.
It won't be long before I go for a colab jacket I suspect.Anyway, good to be here chaps.
-
Thanks for the welcome. Wow, very small world, I am in Warfield, just outside Bracknell on the way to Maidenhead.
-
Wow, that is seriously close….. If only I'd known, would have been good to meet with someone who understands the denim thing.
My understanding GF, is tollerant, but doesn't really get it. :-\

They can't understand anything we enjoy and thats why we let them buy their $1500 purses so we have something in our back pocket when they try to say why are u buying $500 jeans? and I say Where's ur Fendi bag baby
-
It sounds a great idea in theory, but the trouble is my GF doesn't buy anything expensive for herself, and never wants me to buy anything for her either.
I cannot even push the guilt trip back! :o
I am tempted to give her my 1920s style Aero baseball jacket….maybe that will win me some points lol!
-
Or u can give her a 1 week hall pass lol
-
Hey, that's not a bad idea lol
She took a shine to my rather old Aero A2, but no way she's having that lol!! ::)
-
A nice A2 or a hall pass lol?
That is a very good question, and one I am sure she'd not be comfortable me discussing on here…..but oh well lol...... maybe a 36/38 I guess.....(but a fair bit up front lol )
-
Thanks, will have a talk with her later…..

'sup, all.
I never put one of these together when I first joined a year or so ago, so I figured "why not now?" (Since I've been around, tried various brands and aesthetics and decided less is more.)
Most of you know me as Chris–though I would prefer to be called PJ, in honour of my late grand fathers– the impulsive buyer who typically sells at a loss. Ha, and although this is true, you can't deny my taste is defined by quality . Furthermore, I've been known to have a short fuse, though will easily admit fault when the time calls for it. (Sup, Adam; hope all is well.)
I reside in Montreal where I work for our family run textile factory, in which we are responsible for making, amongst other things, insoles for companies like Graf skates and the ankle pads found in our nation's military footwear.
I've had a tumultuous past couple of years but things are finally starting to look up and as such I have determined that there are few things as important in life than family, surrounding yourself with good people, and a damn reliable pair of jeans! (The latter of which of the less serious variety.)
I enjoy playing baseball, taking long drags from a dart, sipping on fresh Guiness after a long work week and real women not caught up in trying too hard to be something they're not.
I've noticed quite a few new members contributing around here in the last while, which is always nice to see, as well as some old heads bowing out graciously. Regardless of status, I hope all of you are well.
Now, let's get me back into some Iron Heart.
